Nintendo Handheld Console 3DS - Metallic Red

I decided it was time to move on from little DS Lite and upgrade to a better console, so I chose the 3DS. I was stuck at first between whether or not to get the 3DS or the 3DS XL. I settled on the 3DS because I was told that there' absolutely no different between them except alot of money and slightly bigger screen. And I have to say the screen is perfect for me and I have no problems with the size of it, the picture quality or reading anything on it. I expected it to be quite heavy but it is surprisingly light, which is a bonus. The Display on both screens is amazing! And the 3D screen has blown me away. It's extremely impressive and I've never seen anything like it before. I'd had my expectations of the 3DS but this is far beyond anything I'd expected. The camera's quality is really good and I love being able to take photos in 3D too. The browser on it is cool as well, I wasn't expecting that to be the case at all. The controls on the 3DS are basically the same as the DS but with the added circle pad which I find to make playing games much easier and better, I use this a lot more now than the good old + control pad. But the choice is there if you want it. The different little apps that come preloaded on it like Nintendo 3DS Sound, Mii Maker, StreetPass, Mii Plaza, AR Games, Activity Log, Face Raiders, etc are really cool, so even if you don't have games to start you off straight away these will keep you occupied till then. The AR cards provided with it are just out of this world. I didn't know what they did when I first got them and when I first used them I was like " O_O Epic". And I love how some games like kingdom hearts have made their own limited edition AR cards for use in the actual games! I can't really fault it for anything at all, unless if I was being picky it would be nice if they provided screen protectors with the console as they cost quite a bit to buy separate. But anyway, this is the BEST console I've ever bought and the games I've played on it so far are amazing! Even playing normal DS games it's great! And I don't miss not being able to play gameboy games on it because they can be downloaded from the nintendo e-store. And the battery life on it is amazing! A good 3- 5 hours playing in a row. And the charging stand makes charging it a lot more convenient. Anybody looking for a new console should definitely get the 3DS, and if they're not looking for a new console then get it anyway!

Met all expectations with minimal unnoticable use for a second hand item

I think this video game system is extremely underrated! I also want people to remember and realise that the 3D effect is only one out of many features the 3DS has in store for its buyers, it seems to me that some of the reviewers on here are giving the system a 3 Star rating or below purely because the 3D is hurting their eyes. HELLO?! There's a depth slider that goes from 2D to Full 3D. You can't rate the system just on the 3D effects! What about the fantastic releases like Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time and Star Fox 3D? Not to mention the future releases of Super Mario 3D Land, Sonic Generations and Mario Kart 7! I've had the 3DS from the very beginning, 25th March, and it's done nothing but please me! I wish other people would just open their eyes and realise that this is a new generation of video gaming, and not just for 3D visuals! To finish, I'd like to say, this video game system's sales are going to rocket sky high, come Christmas! You just wait! ^_^

I purchased the latest DS for my younger daughter as a christmas present and to end the arguments about whos turn it is with my older daughter. I haven't yet purchased any 3DS specific titles and therefore she is using old DS titles with it but, anyway it seems to me a big step-up from the older DS. Nintendo has brought a lot more into this product than the old DS with the 3D video/photo camera, internet browsing nintendo Miis etc. Some of this stuff is too advanced for my daughter at the moment and admitedly the Internet is limited because it can't cope with flash and that must be on all the sites that kids are into. However aside from these niggles it is a very nice and fun console and great for those moments you want to be able distract a youngster for quarter of an hour or so.

I purchased this console for my daughter's birthday. When it arrived it was in a very poor condition and had obviously been used. When I asked about a return the seller informed me that I hadn't read the description properly and that it was in fact ex display and there was a no-returns policy on this item. I could find no mention of it being ex display on the communications I'd had during purchasing and their listing had disappeared from the site so I couldnt check. They were rude and aggressive and told me it was my fault and they would not accept a return. I contacted Amazon for advice who told me that their sellers are not allowed under contract to have a no returns policy and this is not acceptable either under EU online consumer law. They opened a claim against this seller on my behalf which was successful. The seller was rude and unpleasant to deal with throughout. I would strongly advise against purchasing anything from Platinum Games.

I bought this as a birthday present for my wife. She absolutely loves it. So much so that I'm now feeling like a neglected husband! She loves the functionality, especially the wi-fi connection, but overall she thinks it's a superb bit of kit. We both love the colour (wish I had a laptop that shade!).

I decided to upgrade my DS Lite to the 3DS (to save money I got this instead of the 3DSXL) and it arrived well before it was due to which was brilliant because It came in first class time with out the price!Anyway, the features on this are brilliant along with the accessories included and so I would recommend this to anyone. I'm really glad I bought this.The only negative is that to play my Game boy advance games I have to keep my DS Lite but I don't think that matters because the most of people don't play those anymore!

No stylist ,and bit battered and scratched would not call it ,very good condition got it as a gift bit disappointed

Non fidatevi assolutamente, il loro "come nuovo" significa "pieno di graffi ed ammaccature". Console venduta senza scatola, quando dalle foto ti fanno intendere che ci sia. Il caricabatterie è venduto senza uno spinotto da attaccare alla corrente, e per di più funziona male, tanto da doverlo reggere con un elastico, altrimenti non ricarica la batteria. Dulcis in fundo, la console mi è stata recapitata col filtro famiglia e col numero di serie strappato via, così da rendere fastidiosa e limitante l'esperienza di gioco, oltre che difficile richiedere alla Nintendo un Masterkey di sblocco. Complimenti vivissimi anche per ignorare i messaggi degli acquirenti scontenti, mi rivolgerò al servizio clienti di Amazon.

Für einen gebraucht Artikel, sehr gut erhalten. Der Artikel kam gut Geschütz an.

Die Rückseite weist starke gebrauchsspure (kratzer) auf, auch auf dem Bildschirm sind zwei große kratzer zu sehen! Auch ist der originale Stift für den Touchscreen durch ein anderer ersetzt worden, diese passt nicht in den dafür vorgesehenen halter im DS und fliegt somit lose durch die Gegend! Ansonsten sind alle Knöpfe straff und funktionieren... ich werden den DS behalten, da die Kratzer die Funktion nicht beeinträchtigen, für den Preis bin ich aber wirklich enttäuscht!!!

Also erstmal das Gerät funktioniert, mit der Lieferung gab es zwar Probleme aber das liegt bestimmt nicht an dem Verkäufer und sie waren auch sehr bemüht dem nachzugehen! Zum Gerät: „leichte Gebrauchsspuren“ ist „leicht“ untertrieben! Es gibt hier amerikanische Stecker wobei auch ein Adapter mitgeliefert wurde! Sofort Spielbereit stimmt hier leider enenfalls nicht, da hier auch keine Karte inkludiert war! Fazit: Verkäufer wirklich bemüht aber mit dem Gerät leider nicht ganz zufrieden!
