Waste of Money
Very bad product. Just waste of money. It never worked with our tank water and could not control the hard water odour. Simply a waste product. Now I even doubt if those extra star ratings and good reviews are really genuine.

Good disinfectant
This chlorine tablets are effective in disinfecting the freshwater. They release free chlorine and can disinfect the water as it is claimed by the manufacturer. I could see the precipitation in the tank which is a prerequisite for the disinfection. Of the brand's I used, I could certainly endorse this product

Yes it smells like chlorine. The taste is also the same. Like the taste of the water of the municipality water. And hope this destroy the germs too in the same way.
