This remote works and was simple enough to setup. My only issue is it made the unit of measurement Celsius and I think one of the functions of the ac is in available, expected with a universal. I don’t have to climb in a chair to turn the unit on so, it’s a win

My dog destroyed my AC controller, so I ordered this one to replace it at first I didn’t understand how to connect it, but then the instructions were right on the back of the controller. It took like two minutes to figure out which code was the right one, but once it was connected, it works perfect. I didn’t follow the instructions to a T because I don’t know where the power cord to my AC was, and couldn’t figure out what the code was, but I was still able to connect it by allowing the code to go up each digit until it turned on the AC. Then I just set it to the right code and made sure all the buttons worked once I knew everything was perfect. I had no problems.

There's nothing fancy with this remote, but I was able to get it to work for the important functions of my A/C. The instructions make no sense, and neither did those found online from other reviews, but I was able to figure out how to search for the code for my A/C, even though I didn't know the code. This was for an old Boston Innovative Products portable that I'd lost the remote for. The control panel wasn't working, either, so I'm glad that I found a remote that works with it. It was a last ditch effort and so I can't really complain. I'd have purchased a different remote if I'd have thought I could find one that worked for me, but this was the only type that seemingly would search for the code on so many different models. I bumped it a star for that reason, alone. CODE: 964

This remote absolutely does NOT have a backlight. It has a little LED light on the top that works like a cheap flashlight. That’s it. The screen does not light up; the buttons don’t light up. And it’s a very dated white/ tan color that looks cheap.

This worked for my ACDC Solar Air Conditioner that I imported from China.

China cheap. But not it was $8 this one was more then the eBay one. Better looking white color I think not of beige etc almost but less then the other which was nice or nicer, but an expensive paper weigh & small flash light. Now I have two taking space. Ugh. I should have listened to the reviews. It helped me for two more ntn or so. Short lived help time window. It should never stop working till 3 yrs like TV remotes etc. Like why does it stop working. Now I'm in a terrible predicament ! The seller ir manufacturer should refund me my money ! At least $7 keep $1 for their troubles too. Ugh. That should be the policy and stop making crap that doesn't last either !

Brand of AC I have is YMGI, was worried it wouldn’t work as not list. Literally pressed on and it worked! Actually works better than the remote that came with my AC! Super easy to read and set temp I need.

Very good little remote. Thought it stopped working after the next season but just needed to be programmed which is super easy to do. My a/c wasn’t in the list provided but I was able to find a YouTube video of this remote and it worked like a charm and still does. Better than the one that came with the actual a/c.
