Excellent and effective tool... : - )
A good quality lightweight hammer I use for high fret wire on guitar fretboards. Works very well and is not too heavy, which could cause damage. I have zero complaints.

Well made - thinking of getting a second before they are gone.
I almost want to buy another before they are no longer available- well balanced so easy to control - brass does what it should and the head does not mar against harder surfaces.

Luthier's least expensive PERFECT option. Doesn't damage fret wire.
It was the cheapest option I could Find. Hammer holds together well. It's not meant to drive anything. Medium to light taps that don't damage the metals on the project. I use it for seating frets on electric guitars I repair or build.

Good well made hammer, just a bit small for gun smithing
This is a very well made hammer. I purchased this hammer for building AR lowers and general gun smithing. While it did the job pretty good it is more of a jewelry hammer. The price is right. And I will continue to use it in tight places and light tapping but I will look for a larger brass/non-marring hammer with replaceable heads or brass/delrin faces. This is hammer show quite a bit of wear and divots to the hammer faces but it is designed to take the damage rather that the item you are working on. With the hammer being so light you tend to swing it harder and therefore increase the chance of missed strikes and certainly numerous strikes. I feel a slightly larger hammer would do the work for you and require less work. This is a good hammer, just needs a little more ass on it.
