I’ve been using this 206X toner cartridge set for several weeks, and I’m very happy with the results. Installation was quick because the built-in chips worked immediately—no need to transfer anything. The print quality is sharp with vibrant colors, and the page yield has been excellent. It’s a reliable, cost-effective alternative to the original HP cartridges, and I would definitely buy it again.

Bought this 206X high-capacity set and printed a few test pages right after installation – black and colors all came out rich and bold, no fading or washed-out text at all. Images look vibrant with smooth color transitions, worked great for printing some promotional materials at the office. Already a few hundred pages in and the supply report still shows plenty of toner left – definitely long-lasting. Installation was smooth too with no recognition issues. Great quality and yield at this price – will be buying again.

I bought these toner cartridges expecting reliable performance for my home/office printing needs, but I’m extremely disappointed. Right out of the box (or very soon after installing), the prints came out extremely faint - barely any visible ink/toner in all colors (black, cyan, magenta, yellow). Text was washed out, images were almost invisible, and it was unusable for anything important. I immediately ran the printer’s supply report/status page, and it showed around 60% toner remaining across the board. So the levels looked fine, but the actual output was terrible. This mismatch is frustrating and misleading and it feels like the cartridges don’t deliver what they promise in terms of yield or quality. I tried the usual fixes: shaking the cartridges to redistribute toner, checking for “Toner Save” or draft mode (it wasn’t on), running cleaning cycles, and calibrating. Nothing helped much; prints stayed super light and affected my productivity big time - I have a lot to print and ended up stalled. Very let down by the performance versus the advertised page yield and “high quality” claims. If you’re considering these, think twice as it might be worth sticking to originals or a different brand to avoid this headache.

These 206X cartridges are truly awesome. I’ve been using them in my HP printer for a few weeks now and have had zero issues so far. (Feel free to skip to the paragraph break for just the direct review 😄! I'm in a good mood today bear with me lol) For some reason I keep having bad luck with yellow cartridges 😆. First my original one (no relation to MyCartridge) broke somehow or got messed up through the local hot climate, I don't know. But my printer perma looks like I poured turmeric inside it in some areas lol. Anyway, so I finally finish up my toner, even the messy yellow one. And I take on the overwhelming task of finding new ones for the first time :P. I knew toner/ink usually costs "as much as the printer itself!" But it doesn't hit til you see the price tag when you're looking for some T__T. Well, I found this one and it was on a bit of a discount too! While I ordered it, I've started having some important life stuff come up. It could wait, but ideally I'd have quick access to my printer. So, I get the new toner, but! One color didn't work. Ahhh, yellow again of all colors lol. And printers are very picky so, if it doesn't wanna use one color, it won't even use plain black ink. Well I was able to get in touch with the company right away through the amazon Contact Seller page, and the lady on the phone was really nice ^-^! They said they would send me a replacement right away for the yellow! However, as mentioned, my luck with the yellow has been randomly bad 😂, it didn't stop there! This time, it got lost in the mail! I was getting kinda worried cause it had been a while. They graciously said they'd replace a whole set for all the trouble! But as it had been a while and a week or two nothing had arrived, I was still worried and not sure what to expect. Well, a day or two ago it finally arrived! And indeed an entire brand new set! Thankfully the important stuff I needed to print out doesn't have a strict deadline necessarily, it's more like 'the soonest, the better' kind of thing :). I'm also an artsy person and real excited to print out stuff for collages and stickers and such! I'm just so exciitteeeed!!!! My printer was in a less accessible room before & I have health issues that makes it hard to get around, but now its in an even closer spot due to a friend's help so I can use it more! Printers are so magical and cool!!!! Woooo technology! I don't wanna waste the not working yellow one, since its perfectly new, its just the chip doesn't work. I feel bad that someone made that and put all that material in there just for it to end up straight in the dump cause printers make them ridiculously restricted. Well, if I ever figure out something to do with that one, I'll have a fully matching refill set ^-^! Regardless, I don't have intense pressure over if there's a way to make janky chip one work since I have plenty of toner for long while now thanks to the fixed yellow they sent 🥰. Oh yeah! As for assembly, the parts that protect the cartridges were bright orange, so it was pretty easy to figure out what to take off. I believe there is a paper with instructions too. (Don't try to take out the little clear toner circles on the sides! I almost tried to and then I was like, waaait I really should consult the instructions again ×__×. Thank goodness cause those were *not* shown in the removal part 😅😅). Anyway, there is also a strip that you pull out the side, it can get a bit stuck at the end, just give it another gentle good tug. I printed out a thank you note hehe. Well, looks like it works! Print quality looks a bit desaturated compared to the picked images but I'm pretty sure that's from my printer as it was looked similarly different before too. It took me a long time to run my toner down the first time (a couple years tho it was mostly b&w and I wasn't able to use the printer that much before anyway), so however long it ends up being for these, I'll come back to this company if they're still at it :) I'd say I'd recommend my friends too but there are so many printer models, if they do have a printer I figure it probably wouldn't be the same one or in the same family hahahahaha. Anyway, the staff folks have been very lovely to me, and the number even tho it was busy a few times they got back to me very quickly! The shipping took a while but, they can't really control a ton about that, so pls be kind on them! For me, when I had an issue they did as they promised and then some! These are an excellent economical to print. These toner cartridges are not going to perform exactly as Genuine HP toner will, but for almost everything they are more than good enough. This package of 4 cost roughly as much as 1 or 1and a half genuine toners. Their colour profiles will not be a dead match, but for most office or daily printing that won't make any difference. Remember to disable all cartridge/toner security in the printer menu BEFORE installing the new toner cartridges or it may zap them. Otherwise it will just say non-hp and carry on with calibration. Install was simple, they dropped in after removing all packaging and have worked flawlessly going forward. The prints a sharp and precise with no bleeding or gaps. I'm quite impressed with these, especially at this price! I highly recommend them

Setting up this toner in my printer was straightforward and seamless. I was able to install this into my printer and print out the first test page in less than a minute and it gave a very OEM-like experience. I like that the chip came installed and there is no need to mess around with trying to transfer a chip over. However, do note that I typically do not update my firmware on HP printers for the ability to use third party cartridges.... if you've been updating your firmware, your mileage may vary. For print quality, I mainly use my printer for office documents (think PDF's, presentation slides and word documents) and this type of work, the toner handled that perfectly. The fonts are crisp and legible, even at smaller sizes, and I did not have any issues with streaking or smudging in my initial prints of a dozen or so pages. Colors came out nicely: charts with large sections of color came out uniformly and looked sharp and professional. I had also printed a few webpage captures for reference when doing shopping and while it's not really photo quality, the images came out good enough that I wouldn't hesitate to use this to print out something like flyers if needed. Compared to the OEM toner, I don't really notice any difference worth highlighting and I wouldn't hesitate to use these instead.

Current price point at the time/date of this review: $197.01 with no discount/coupon being offered. Pricing is fair although a little higher than one may expect from an aftermarket off-branded set. Although it comes as a full set and still saves you significantly compared to OEM pricing it should still be noted that I’ve seen/used cheaper alternatives with varying quality. This one is no different as the performance output quality is a little lacking compared to OEM type replacement units, but otherwise makes for a cost saving alternative although I do think it could go down just a little if offering a competitive edge. Slides in easy and generally fits and works just like the OEM although it does need to “think” a little after initial setup but which is common with most. Cartridge quality is simply basic and while not comparable to OEM it’s fair and generally seems to hold up as such.
