A little disappointed that all components not compatible with old gun designs ...
A little disappointed that all components not compatible with old gun designs previously sold. However, so far the product performs on par with older designs I purchased.

inexpensive but good
I use this in my business everyday . It's an inexpensive workhorse and I'm thinking about purchasing another one just to have a "spare for my spare" on hand. I highly recommend it!

a really good product ,easy to set up, instructions easy to understand even for those who never read instructions. The sprayer in operation is lightweight, gives a good spray pattern i have been spraying fences and can cover a good area quickly .It is very quick and easy to clean ,good volume regulation all in all good value for money . The one downside is that the paint bottle could be double the size although i think bigger bottles are available.

easy and practical
hi I recently purchased the Earlex 1900 spray station .I was unsure which HVLP spray station to get and after reading some reviews I decided on this product .I used it today for the first time on my fence panels and used Liberon sprayable decking oil. All I can say is what a great product ,it is really easy to use and did 9 panels in about an hour. The system is easy to set up and comes with a clear instruction manual and a DVD. It is easy to set and control the flow of the spray, and with it that there was very little over spray . I did mask of the fence posts and any bits that did get caught with the spray just wiped of with white spirit. And when you are done it is really easy to clean .A great product that is easy to use and delivered a great finish 5*****

Earlex Paint Spray Station 1900 - Easy!
Couldn't be easier to use. Couln't be easier to clean. Represents good value for money. Because it is so quick, the only downside is having to refill the paint reservoir so often - other than that: highly recommended.

Spray it., don't say it.
What a fantastic product this has turned out to be. OK, I've only used it for doing fencing but it is fantastic. Far better than than any pump up sprayer, including well known DIY stores own ones for their own sprayable fence treatment. The claim of 5 mins. for a 6' x 6' panel is a bit optimistic, about 15 mins. is more realistic in a real situation allowing for refilling which brings me to my next point. The reservoir is a bit small for large area jobs like fencing or walls and you tend to spend an inordinate amount of time refilling it during such tasks.Like all sprayers, intricate cleaning is recommended, particularly with oil based paints, but you don't have to be too fussy with water based materials as long as it is basically cleaned out.Overall, this is a fabulous product that makes water based painting jobs oh so easy. A good buy but beware where you get it. Certain High St. and other DIY stores charge about £10.00 more!

EARLEX paint sprayer
This sprayer was purchased to paint our new 5x3 (meters) timber cabin and a substantial amount of timber fencing. Our cabin was painted using 'Cuprinol Garden Colours' which is water based. As stated in another review it was worth reading the instructions first to understand how to control the paint spray pattern and the volume of paint delivered. We elected to turn down the volume and that required several passes to obtain sufficient coverage. The 'however' was that we used much less paint then expected and avoided any runs (the timber cabin used planed wood). I didn't understand the complaint about the reservoir being too small - if the paint deivery is turned up it certainly empties fairly quickly, but the delivery is substantial and runs shall likely occur. Simply turn the volume down and do a few more passes. I painted the entire cabin in an afternoon including masking the windows and doors etc.We also used Cuprinol for the fence - their Oak finish wood preserver and for this we turned the volume up a little as the fence timber was unplaned. Again the work was undertaken incredibly quickly. We ex[perienced no overheating despite using the spray gun for several hours continuously - only stopping to refill the reservoir.Cleaning was also easy - we unscrewed the easily disassembled parts and simply sprayed warm water through until everything was clean (The Cuprinol products all cleaned up with water).Am very satisfied and do not hesitate to recommend this product.
