Description
- EZ-Rock Camber Profile: A gentle reverse camber shape for easy, smooth all mountain riding without fear of catching edges.
- TruFlex Core: TruFlex cores are wood constructions made in the Flow Labs out of different density Poplar woods to create a uniquely strong but lightweight core. These boards have a lively, flexy feel but don't feel weak and noodly and unresponsive. Which is good!
- Twin-ISH Directional Board: Flow lists this board as 'Twin-ISH' meaning that it is not a completely symmetrical twin tip board, but it's pretty close.
- Wood Core Construction: This board sports a wood core, which helps dampen a bumpy a ride, giving the board a smoother ride. The wood core also helps maintain the camber of the board so it stays springy and lively.
- Optix 2000 Extruded Base: A high density extruded base such as this is extremely easy to maintain and fix.
The Merc is back again offering an awesome all mountain option that is snappy and fun. The Merc is more of a directional board meaning that it doesn't have equal amounts of tip and tail, so if you spend most of your time riding switch, you may want to consider more of a twin board. The Merc does have EZ rocker which makes it more playful and versatile. We recommend this board to intermediate to advanced riders looking for a durable board that will perform exceptionally well in all terrain and conditions. The 156cm model measures a little bit wider to accommodate bigger boot sizes and eliminate toe drag.
