We love it, delicious greens in 20 days!
20 days from seed to table! We have become increasingly conserned about our food with all the recalls. We are just the two of us. So I thought I would try this. AMAZING! Its so quiet I thought it wasn't working, but they started to grow. By day 20 we had enough greens for our weekly use. I only planted 1/2 to start because I want the rest in spinach. And after harvest, it continues! Ill probably get another big bowl in 10 days or so! So much better than dealing with dirt, bugs, heat, watering.

Love it, best for herbs
I bought this because herbs are ridiculously expensive at the grocery store and they invariably spoil before I can use them up. At first, I went nuts and planted a whole bunch of herbs, lettuce, and cherry tomato plants. This really isn't the right setup for tomatoes and lettuce because there's not enough room for the plants to grow and they shade out the other plants. It's perfect for herbs, though. Basil is my main "crop" but I also grow dill, thyme, rosemary, oregano, mint... The water lasts for a really long time at first (like more than a month), but once the plants are rooted it gets sucked up quicker. You need to trim the roots (look up videos on YouTube) once they start growing because it gets a little wild down there and they can clog the pump. The directions have handy tips on how to prune your herbs, which I didn't do at first and some went to seed. I'm learning! The pump is super quiet, which is great. I had to strategically place the garden in my very small house because the grow light stays on 16 hours/day and is pretty bright. My boyfriend loves caprese, so I bought him one for Christmas to grow basil. It will pay for itself within the year growing basil alone!

Seed to Mouth in Five Weeks
I could not be happier with my purchase! It took a little over a month from seed to mouth (started 6/19 and today is 7/23). And this week we got to use cilantro for some tacos and tonight I had my first salad. I might have been a little too mistrusting the seeds would not germinate so I did 4 of each just in case (which is more than recommended). Mixed results as far as that goes... probably had all, some and none germinate but I cannot really blame the none on the product because it clearly works. I tried to grow all the lettuce options, only ones that worked out were the buttercrunch and romaine. Out of the herbs the cilantro, basil and parsley thrived. I did get some others to germinate. Arugula and Kale did germinate but the timing was off so they got fried. Spinach never germinated unfortunately but again, this is no fault to the product. I will say its kind of relieving everything didn't all thrive because it would have probably been overwhelming. I did end up using toilet paper rolls to help support the herbs since they were stringy at first and being pushed to the side by the lettuce. Super happy with this product and great results. I would absolutely recommend this product and I look forward to having some fresh lettuce and herbs in the winter months. I think it was well worth the money and you can restock on pods if need be. It's a great size too. I actually had it on my window sill but realized that was unnecessary so moved it to an area that made more sense. I do love the simplicity of it and I like being able to see the water level.

Review of the 12 pod Ahopegraden hydroponics system
This was my first dive into hydroponic gardening, and so far it has proven to be quite enjoyable. The system was straightforward to set up and took no more than 3 minutes to assemble. The only gripe that I currently have with the system is the flashing red "Refill light, Admittedly, I am unsure if it is merely because I filled the unit with 5L of water before it was activated, and could potentially register the water level, or if the water level sensor is genuinely not working. Despite this minor issue, the system has been wonderful with my test batch of Margoram, Parsley, Lettuce, and mint growing quite well. Once the fertilizer was added, the growth of the aforementioned plants (especially the Margoram, Lettuce, and Parsley) all took off. All in all, it's a straightforward and easily assembled system that can fit in the corner of a kitchen countertop, table, and/or nightstand.

Growing Made Easy: My Experience with Ahopegarden Hydroponics
Pro: I'm thrilled with my first hydroponic system experience! All my seeds (dwarf tomato, kale, arugula, and lettuce) have sprouted, and I'm excited to watch them grow. The setup is straightforward, space-efficient, and automatic. The system comes with everything needed, except seeds, and is easy to follow. Using high-quality seeds is crucial. I've had no issues germinating my seeds, even after just a few weeks. The light is bright, but I cover it with a black scarf at night. While it doesn't have a smart app, I don't find it necessary. I am able to get by. The quiet pump and 12 potting spaces are fantastic features. I highly recommend this system for small herbs and lettuce. The adjustable light is also a nice touch, allowing me to customize the settings. Highly recommended for first time grower. Con : None so far. I will keep updating Update : March 8 About one month later , I am able to harvest some salad (kale, multiple type of lettuce, basil). My dwarf tomato starting to flower too! I did refill the water (1 liter x 2 ) and add nutrient per instruction.

Great company and products!
I've had several different brand hydroponic gardens and the Ahopegarden is by far one of the best. I have two of these right now and one of them gave me a small problem after a couple months use. Ahopegarden promptly sent me a new unit and it is up and running perfectly. Don't hesitate to buy from this company if you are looking for an hydroponic garden!!

Easy and fun way to grow herbs at home
I’m really happy with this hydroponic growing system. It was very easy to set up — just add water, nutrients, and seeds, and the system does the rest. The LED grow light is bright and adjustable, which helps the plants grow strong even without sunlight. I also like the automatic light cycle and water circulation system. It keeps the water fresh and makes the whole process very low-maintenance. Systems like this allow plants to grow faster indoors because the roots get constant water and nutrients.

Light timer issue
Bought two of these, and most of the features are perfect, with one major flaw that almost outweighs all of the positives. For a little background, I have two Aerogarden Bounties and an Idoo 12 pod (in addition to some diy dwc and kraty setups). I do like the Ahopegarden, but where it falls short is the timer on the light panel. There is no way to set the time you want it to turn on every day other than turning it on manually at that time. I want my systems to turn on around 3-3:30 in the morning so they turn off around sunset (my kitchen, where I have them, is open to the living room so the light shines in while we're watching movies). So the only way to do that with the Ahopegarden is to schlep my half asleep self downstairs in the middle of the night to turn it on - which is fine just once, no problem. The issue is the buttons on the light panel are so sensitive that even the slightest brush from my hand while tending to my other plants, or anything else including other tall plants that are growing adjacent to it will trigger a button and turn it off at an odd time, which means I need to repeat the process again to reset the timer. The Aerogardens have a built in clock, and the Idoo will turn back on 5 hours after being manually shut off so neither requires getting out of bed at the witching hour to set the timer. That's a pretty big negative for me. Literally everything else about this system is great. I don't really need the thermostat or hygrometer, but they're a nice touch for those who do. The plastic is sturdy just like the Aerogardens. It takes the same size pods and sponges as the Aerogarden so that makes it easy to find replacements. My plants are growing nicely and aren't leggy at all, so the light is definitely strong enough. Finally, I love how easy it is to remove the light panel for water changes. But that timer issue is huge for me, and I have yet to find a way to get around it or prevent the light panel from accidental touches (I've tried taping over it with masking tape but it's still too sensitive). It's frustrating to find the light has turned off in the middle of the day because a wayward celery leaf wandered too near the control panel causing the timer to be out of sync with the rest of my systems. I'll try to tape a piece of cardboard over it to see if that solves the issue.

Quiet and works well
It works super well! The pump is really quiet and the instructions are clear. The herbs sprouted in 2 days! It only misses a timer to control how long the lights stay on, but I recommend it anyways.

Impressive simple to use system
So far I am very impressed with the system. But I have only started using it. I love the look and my lettuce seems to be growing well although only 1 cm tall. It creates a bit of an early spring flavor in my house in Canada where winters are too long! It is easy to use, seems sturdy enough and it looks great.
