Great!
This is my favourite of ProCook's knives that I have (this review is for the 15cm/6in, as they also make a bigger one which you buy on this same page from the drop-down menu). It's really very good, well balanced, with a CHUNKY bolster for strength and a bit more metal at the hilt for balance (so full tang, obviously, as are all of ProCook's knives in this range). Shame the bolster doesn't quite form a guard, so you'll have to be careful and have good knife technique. On my example, there were actually a few quality control issues, such as the rivets standing proud of the handle by almost 1 mm, which you can really notice, and happily isn't present with either of my other ProCook knives. Also, the flat sides of the blade, which are ground presumably by hand (given the imperfect surface) are not quite evenly flat. (This issue was also present with the 13cm knife, which incidentally has a much thinner blade and is far less tall). Anyway, none of these issues put me off it (that's how good this knife is), especially as I am fairly handy, so I could do these finishing jobs myself if the mood strikes me, but you might not, so you may wish to return any imperfect ones. At £20, these are great value for money, and so versatile that together with a bread knife (see my other review) and a small peeling knife (smaller than my 13 cm ProCook) they're all the knives you'll ever need in the average home kitchen.

Super sharp, exactly what I was hoping for.
I am over the moon with this knife, after spending years working in a kitchen where a professional sharpening service would come around weekly to keep the knives in good order I really missed a sharp knife at home. This is not expensive for such a high quality item and if you haven't had the pleasure of a really sharp knife treat yourself to one of these. No need to go more expensive for the home/hobbyist chef as the only slight negative is that they are fairly weighty which if you prefer a light knife or use them all day every day in a commercial setting you may find not to your liking.

Easy to hold, high quality stainless Steel
I love Pro-Cook and have many items in my kitchenThis knife is made of high quality steel and feels comfortable to hold. I just wish it was sharper and also had a sheath to protect it as well as prevent any accident while not in use .

Very good knife
You don’t realise how bad your knives are until you treat yourself to a new one. What a difference. Nice to hold and use, very sharp easy to sharpenI was debating between this and the slightly longer one but this one suits my needs very well

Brilliant buy
This is knife 3 from Pro Cook, unfortunately I bought this one as a gift and I am envious of its recipient. Great knives, super sharp edge, comfortable to hold, effortless to use. If you have a good sharpener, these blades will do you proud.

Quality product
Great large-ish knife, can be used for general purpose but great for large vegetables e.g. butternut squash. Has a certain heft to it that eases heavy chopping. Edge is good on delivery for heavy use but for finer chopping would do with sharpening.

Definitely worth buying
Absolute bargain of a knife - sharp and well balanced, and has stayed that way after a few months of near-daily use. Will definitely buy more from this range in the future when I have a need for more knives.
