EFI Fuel Pump Check Valve Assembly 62189-01A For Harley-Davidson Softail Fat Boy Heritage 2001-2007

I have a 2003 Fatboy EFI. There’s really nothing else to say, except this part fit perfectly into my HD. No leaks, bike runs great. I recommend.

Would have Been so much easier to find the correct O-ring, but overall it was t too bad. Just run a wire out from the gas fill spout down to the bottom of the tank and use that as your fish tape to get that line going where it needed to be and, no more leaks. If I could find a paint color that makes me happy I would have to keep unhooking this. Well worth the money!

IF YOU ARE GETTING THIS FOR A HARLEY.......PLEASE READ. The OEM equipment is attached with Oetiker clamps, small diameter pinch type clamps, sometimes called stepless ear clamps. This check valve comes with conventional worm drive clamps. The minute you take the product out of the package, you can tell that the worm drive clamp will not fit properly in order to install. You NEED the Oetiker clamps. Another poster said they are less than 20 bucks with the tool. But plan ahead. Auto Zone, etc. do not offer Oetiker clamps, so make sure you are ready. Order them elsewhere if you order this check valve. It's an odd size......now I am waiting 3-4 days for the right clamp. I gave two stars because they did not offer the right hardware. If it were riding season, it would have been one star. Add 3 bucks to the price and offer the right hardware, people!

This check valve will NOT fit in your tank due to the large, screw style hose clamp installed on it. Don't waste your time. Get the Quantum or FPF versions that has the line heat shrunk to the valve or one that has a single ear clamp securing it.
