I bought this for my father, an avid Bowie fan, and it was a welcome addition to his collection. However, although hardback, the binding is quite poor. This is a long, heavy book and the bends in the front and back cover make it weak. The top layer comes away from the card underneath, creating white/grey 'bubbles', and it feels somewhat flimsy to hold. A shame, as the book itself is fantastic.

A little disappointed that the spine was as damaged as it is... I wouldn’t have purchased had i known it was that bad.However the inside was clean and no damage. As a massive Bowie fan it was great to see such wonderful photos from Denis OReagan.. Would recommend.

As the £3000 deluxe edition of this book was a little out of my price range I waited for this much more modestly priced edition to be published. It was worth the wait, it's a beautiful book full of relaxed candid photos of Bowie backstage and exploring the various countries he visited on this massive tour as well as plenty of him onstage and wowing the huge crowds. A must for any Bowie fan. It's a pity our American cousins have to wait until March next year to get hold of it, I wonder why that is ?

The size was smaller than I was expecting, but pretty heavy. Plenty of great photographs showing behind the scenes of life with David Bowie. Purchased as a present for my sister who is a big fan, and enjoyed the book immensly.

I pre-ordered this and then forgot about it so it was a lovely surprise when it arrived. The photographs are wonderful but he was such a photogenic person, a gift of a subject. The images are a great mix of on and off stage moments with Bowie's cheekbones and charisma very much in evidence

What a wonderful collection of photos a beautiful keepsake for any Bowie fan. Can’t wait to give this to my Mum for Xmas as we both went to see him on The serious moonlight tour At Hammersmith Odeon for my 21st what lovely memories this book will bring back.
