Better than leveling blocks
Have a 2005 F-150 5.4 V8 XLT 4X4. The driver side spring was broke so it was time for new. I had 153000 miles on the truck so I figured give these a shot. So far I love them ride much better and give me the room to clear my 35'S (lt31570r17) I previously had a leveling kit on the truck. These lift it just as high but they ride so much better. To me the truck looks level. Look simple to install but opted to have my local shop do I it. $100 install was worth my time. Highhly recommend these. The little knob is easto turn by hand. I changed the setting from what they were at in the picture to the 7 position and I love it. Forgot to add I was also missing three nuts but still great product!

It's those adjustment knobs again...
My truck was sitting lower than stock, so I knew I wanted to lift the front and the rear in order to maintain the factory rake. I had decided on these and also added the Rancho RS9000XL Rear adjustable shocks so I could select my ride firmness. Even after sagging over several weeks, the Quick Lifts still gave me over 1 1/2 inches of lift in the front. I rode with them set at 5 for the first several weeks, and eventually tried turning them counter-clockwise to 4. The ride was plenty soft but I had a load this past weekend and turned them clockwise up to 7. Like the Ranchos in the rear, both Ranchos in the front were a pain to adjust. Turning the knob required you to turn them in the opposite direction to get enough space to build up torque to turn them past where they were set to. They ride just fine at 7 in the front and 9 in the rear so I may decide to just leave them that way. They still ride better than my sagging, sorry stock suspension and my front end is no longer going airborne over pot-holes on 287 (yeah, that was scary when the front would finally come down and the truck would lurch left or right).I don't know how well the adjustment knobs will hold up to the Northeast winter, but I've seen others take off the face plates and apply a treatment to the assembly to keep it from sticking. I don't feel this should be necessary on a new unit so that's where the star is lost. The install wasn't too annoying, although be prepared to fuss around with your axles if you're not going to pull them completely. You can easily pinch or tear your CV boots once you've forced the bottom of the strut passed the ears on the lower control arm. Once free, the strut will jump forward on you and could do some damage. Be careful with your CV axle and play with the angle (you've got to detach the tie rod end anyway so make it count). This was installed along with a Timbrens SES, Rancho RS9000XLs, and SuperSprings SSA28 Helper Springs.

Fit perfectly and they look awesome!
Installed flawlessly in my 2005 F150 Super Crew cab. Sits perfectly level now. Turn them down to the lower settings and the ride will be quite comfortable. The factory setting was harsh and actually scared the heck out of me the first time I hit a bump! I cant imagine that the struts would last very long on a harsher setting, it reminded me of driving an old 70's one ton and hitting frost heaves, and thats a pretty harsh jolt. Turned down toa nice soft setting and it's Cadillac smooth, No issues, no worries. :D

Rancho Quicklift
Easy installation and great products. The following is to eliminate any in conveyance, if any, during self install: I ordered the quick lifts for the front and the RS9000XL for the rear of my 2004 Ford F150 FX4 Off Road. After installation, I noticed, then measured the distance from the center of hub area to bottom of fender well. These did not increase the front to 2.6". After calling Rancho and going over their spec sheets, which include the front of 2.6" lift for the 8800lb truck, which mine is, the determination was that they had the same issue with the Toyota Tundra TRD off road packages as well. The solution is to remove the Rancho springs and install the factory springs on the quick lifts to get the full 2.6" lift, as the factory springs are larger than the Rancho springs in these applications. No big deal, since it was an easy installation to begin with. Switched springs. Have not regretted the extra half hour per side spent. Excellent products. No regrets or complaints.

Acceptable, but QC issues
2004 FX4: the struts did not fit perfectly. One did, but the other was slightly twisted from the top to the bottom. I had to hammer it into the lower strut support. Also the knob is difficult to turn; I am not sure how well it will last over time. Ride quality has improved from my original OEM struts that had 130k miles. Currently set to '5' and it feels a little bouncy; would concern me about possibly cupping my tires. Plan to tune to '6' to stiffen the ride; assuming I can get the knobs to turn. Overall, it is an okay product; just some quality control issues. Attached photos of before and after so you can see the change in rake.

Wow, what an improvement!
Dramatically improved the ride of my 20 year old F150. These Ranchos replaced a previous aftermarket set and the improvement in ride was instantly felt. Much smoother and more settled. Thus far, I’ve kept these in the softest setting but the ride still feels controlled. During the install, I was worried about the clearance with the CV axle boots and the angle of the upper control arms, but once everything was torqued and wheels back on the ground, it all looks fine. Wish I installed these sooner.

Great replacement product.
2005 Ford F150Replaced factory set. Fit is great, levelling is equal to the 2.5 kit I had on the old ones. Adjustable settings work good.. and to tone them down to 3 for the wife. And most importantly they look good.

Good product, as advertised. Poor packaging for shipping.
I've only had them installed for a month but they seem great. Packaging for shipping was poor and the boxes were open when they arrived but all items were in good condition and hardware was still present. Installation was easy, struts seem high quality and added exact 2" of height to my 05 F150 after allowing them to settle for a few days after install.

Comfortable ride
Used to run Pro Comp struts, but they last around 8 mounths and ride harsh. These Rancho’s ride awsome and are adjustable! They gave my truck 2” of lift as specified.
