Hi Lena,I am not sure what you mean by 'the clock has appeared on the bottom right of the screen'.I assume you mean at the bottom of your TV screen, but if you are able to describe this in more detail, for example, is the clock showing if the Panasonic DVD is switched on or off?Any more info you are able to give would help answer your query.

Q: Why does it keep freezing

I've had no trouble in this respect so far. Freeview is prone to distorted sound and picture freezing if the signal is borderline. Wonder if your signal direction is obstructed by trees, wet foliage etc. If the TV works fine without the DVD in circuit, then you may have a suspect loop through lead, maybe worth buying a replacement to test it. Other than that, the unit is an older model, maybe it has a problem which only a repair workshop can resolve, you are unlikely to get any help from Panasonic! I particularly wanted this model because it has the required number of Scart sockets to directly replace a previous unit damaged beyond economical repair by a network cable fault, but am very pleased with it (so far)!

No I don't think so, I have never tried.

Q: Can I watch one channel whilst recording another. (Twin Tuners)?

The only way you can view one channel whilst recording another one is via the TV itself. It does not have two recording heads to use simultaneously, ie, you can choose to record "either" on to the hard drive, or on to a DVD. I am interested to hear how you get on with this recorder. I have had mine about 18 months. It's fine most of the time, but it "freezes" about once a week, it then has to "reboot " which is very annoying. Waggi
