Perfect for my use: thatched roof on a miniature house! I was worried about splinters but it’s nice and smooth. Strong but not hard to cut with shears. And the color is perfect.

I've purchased this rope several times. I'm going to purchase this again.

We just purchased the On2 Pets Cat Tree with Leaves Made in USA, Cat House & Cat Activity Tree, Multi-Level Cat Condo for Indoor Cats, but quickly noticed the trunks are plastic not scratching posts, which is pretty stupid, if you ask us. Why make a cat tree with not scratching posts on it. Bought this rope to wrap around the trunks to make scratching posts. used some glue and staples and now the tree is complete. Highly recommend it for cats.

I used this to wrap 4 entire basement poles. Now they look much better and give the cats something to climb. Very easy project and holds up so well. The poles look so much better and people always comment when they see my 2 cats play on them.

I needed something to use for a scratching post for my cats. What seems to be a natural woody scent, seemed to attract them to it right away. They kept wanting to play with it while I was trying to put it on. It did leave a bit of a mess while doing that but nothing that couldn't be swept up quickly. No mess so far after its been up and they've clawed on it a few times so far. It's not as long as I thought it would be. I managed to wrap about 3.5 ft of a 4x4 post. I probably should've bought 2 for what I intended to do with it but it still works out for the most part. I think they like it, so it's a win.

This rope worked well for the task at hand, covering a hot steam pipe in our apartment bathroom. But, problem 1, two weeks later and it's still giving off a strong funky smell, even after multiple Febreeze attempts. Problem 2, a lot more little ends sticking out than I would have expected. And problem 3, huge amount of mess came off of the rope while we were wrapping it and made a mess of the bathroom, which of course was cleaned relatively quickly but was a lot more mess than I would have expected. I really want to be able to recommend this, but I'm not quite sure I can.

It worked out very well on the dressing table I was building it holes very well doesn’t shed much. I love the color the thickness. You do need some strong shears to cut through it. All in all a great buy.

This is exactly what I wanted. Strong, natural rope for permanent bushcraft-style lashings. It holds knots well, does not smell bad (not sure what other reviewers are talking about there) and is overall just good. If you think this smells like kerosene or something, this is just what hemp rope smells like. I just ordered another!

Makes beautiful rope baskets! However there definitely is a smell when you first open the plastic... .and because its so thick... some needle breakage is inevitable!

Me parece de muy buena calidad, se ve muy bonito entintado, justo como lo necesitaba y a buen precio. Lo usaré para un proyecto decorativo y seguro quedará genial.
