I bought this carrier dog because it made more space for my 9-pound poodle and worked perfectly for him. I know it will work for your dog. I recommend it because its versatility is very convenient for the dog. The dog can stand or lie down because the top part can expand, so the dog does not feel uncomfortable.

The structure holds the shape very well even if you throw it into washer. I use it for my rabbit. Works on frontier airline flights (they don't measure it), perfectly fit under the seats

I needed a carrier to travel via air and this was one of the few that was affordable and SWA approved (Southwest has smaller carrier requirements than other airlines). It worked beautifully and I was actually very impressed with the quality! I had purcahsed another one but returned it and replaced wth this. So happy I did.

Our dog was zooted and quite comfortable on his 1st flight in this carrier. He is approx. 15 lbs. We liked the upper window. Our dog was able to pop his head out. Pretty sturdy too.

Small unit but the mesh panels makes it nice. The pull out top gives cat ability to stand turn easy. Nice cushiony fleecy bottom panel. Lots of zippers and openings to allow ease to get animal in and out. I’m using mine inn3 weeks to travel with cat on plane cross country. Airline size approval . While my cat wil hate to be caged for 12 hrs the carrier is well made and easy to use.
