you get what you pay for, and this is cheap
I swear I couldn't tell the difference between the bulbs being on or off. I was using the lights to photograph a quilt. I wasn't expecting much for the price but I didn't get much. The bulbs were underwhelming, not that bright. THe umbrellas are literally cheap umbrellas. The stands are ok, but they are very hard to open.I'm going to try better bulbs that I have in storage and see if I like those better.

Bulbs have blue hue and are not bright
The bulbs have a blue tent so I will be having to replace those and they are not bright not even close up. Then one of the bulb sockets will not stay locked up when the umbrella is in it no matter what I do. But unfortunately for me I need it and can not return it. I do like carry bag.

Great set. Bulbs could be brighter
Really liked this set just wish bulbs were brighter. Ended up replacing bulbs with bigger and now it works great

Good but takecare of bulb voltage inadequacy in your country
I bought this kit,it's good,but there is one problem about the bulbs.when i used it,it exploded due to it's voltage range is different and inadequate for my country electric supply(saudi arabia).So,be sure to know the voltage range supported in your country,to check whether it's adequate for this bulbs or not.If you are not sure.buy cfl bulbs from your area to avoid this problem.
