Simplicity Deluxe 8/32" Piping Tip And Iron Cover

Haven’t used it yet, but after all the yards of piping I’ve made over the years I’m glad someone designed this. The ceramic under-plate had a grain embedded in the glaze that is sharp; I can file that out and expect no damage to fine fabrics as it feeds through. I did purchase another one of these two years ago, and found the slots/hooks did not line up. I have to alter those to make them sit flat; again, I’m just glad these machines/components are made. One of the biggest complaints from customers years ago was that stitches from piping prepared ahead of assembly could be seen if the sewer was not careful in final assembly of pillow or cushion parts. This machine eliminates that; the only issue I’ve encountered is stocking up on the adhesive fusing. Even in a busy metro area I couldn’t find it when I looked.

The heating element doesn’t work with the US compatible machine. Also the tip is compatible with the US machine but it doesn’t double fold the fabric.
