Image quality, sound quality and overall ease of use are good. Horizontal keystone correction is really useful. Downsides: Network device has mysteriously been wiped whilst connected to the projector though and no way of undoing/restoring 1TB of lost media files.Update 3>4stars: it is really good! Sound fills 5m x 7m room. Image quality is great... Projected on to a 2m wide black-out blind, at full size and using video files from the local WiFi network. Xbox is playable and movies watchable.The controller feels very solid. I haven't tried the android app.I was unable to use the in built miracast successfully but have limited success with downloading HappyCast.I haven't figured out 3D yet. When using a HDMI source such as 3D Blu Ray on Xbox one, the in-video 3D menu is not available... whereas use the file manager app to play a 2D .mp4 or .avi file and the 3D sub menu is available. :/Overall, happy with the purchase and it's better than a HD TV in my opinion.

Very good and bright picture, but....You have to be very careful before buying it, since the company has not told the buyers the whole story.First, the Android version is the 4.3...almost 4 years old!!!! and, as XGMI support admitted in their forums, this way they can use cheap hardware which of course now cannot support newer app versions (that's why the projector is in some way on the cheap side), which means the issues will continue and probably get even worse, as this old Android version will not be able to support newer versions of the applications anyway.Second, can only be used with external sources really(apple tv, laptop, e.t.c). Contrary to how it is advertised, most of the applications on the projector does not work properly or not at all (Youtube, airplay, Amazon Prime, e,t,c).Third, support and support forums are useless, if I put it politely. Slow responses to queries (if you get a response that is), poor English (I can understand that not everybody speaks it fluently, I don't...but I try to make some sense, at the least).A cheap projector, made by old redundant hardware and software. If I knew the above things in advance would I still buy it? No way

These are first impressions (as there's a lot to this device) and I will update it later. The unit comes well packaged in the Apple style approach to improving 'post-purchase dissonance' as marketeers call it. The device itself is very small, portable and well designed with a neat and tactile remote control which seems well laid out and a joy to use. The addition of a shutter cover is welcome to protect the lens. The picture is very good and bright, comparing extremely well to the LG Minibeam and a large Optima short-throw projector that I tried in comparison. However, I still need to see how it copes with fast moving images and in different light conditions. It is, however, surprisingly quiet and doesn't get scorching hot like the competition - only warm to the touch. It has neat menus and great keystone correction which is easy and works well. The Android OS variant on-board seems fine and connected easily and immediately to the network and services, but it does require wifi key and a lot of permissions on your Google account. [For those interested in cybersecurity it might be an idea to make a specific Google account for it and lock down its access on your network]. The plug and play aspects of having an Android OS on-board is fantastic, and you can side-load apps that are not in the default app store. One downside is how it will stand the test of time as Android moves on, but that's true of all smart TVs and devices. On first impressions though this is a brilliant device and, in my opinion beats much more expensive competition. That said, I will update this review (and add photos) as I have more time to play with this device and explore its many great functions.

i humbed and hard for a while before deciding to purchace this as it was considerably more expensive than other projectors but im glad i did it has a great picture in day light and in the dark and the sound quality is good as well but i did purchace a sound bar to boost the volume not that it would be needed in a small room the voice rec works great and it was easy to set up and use we had it running in minuets sorry about the spellings but im dislexic so it gose to show you if i can work this no problem a child could do it.

Don’t even think to buy it! It doesn’t work properly because software installed is old and you can’t even make an update. YouTube app doesn’t work, Netflix as well. Screen mirroring doesn’t work as well

Was happy as a kid for the past two years with my Z4 Aurora until the image turns yellowish today. This seems contrary to its claiming 30000 hours of bulb life. Very likely a manufacture quality issue and I realize it may not be easy to get it checked and serviced in North America. Am stuck with this baby I spent much money on.

Muy buena imagen, muy buen sonido, todavía no probé la conexión con Android pero para mí uso es espectacular, en 120 pulgadas la imagen se asemeja a un buen cine.

Il proiettore è abbastanza luminoso durante il giorno, è ancora possibile vedere e sapere cosa sta succedendo. Tuttavia, non è raccomandato per la luce solare diretta. La qualità è perfetta, a condizione che il file che si sta giocando è almeno 720p se ur sta proiettando 100 "++ Giocata 720p, 1080p e 4K sembra grande il sistema operativo Android è liscia e perfetta - .. senza ritardo dalla mia esperienza. Ottimo oratore è quello di essere onesti l'esperienza migliore se l'altoparlante è di fronte a voi, ma non a te. senza rumore della ventola e u hv AUTO. se avete aumentato manualmente la velocità della ventola e MAX lei non vuole.Buona. This has got to be the coolest little device. The quality is best in a low light room, it will wash out in a bright room. The Size to quality is great. Having the ability to plug USB in w/ Power Point, Word, Excel etc... makes it easy to share documents if you do not want to plug in your computer. The only draw back is screen cast does not work for Window 10 users and have seen many postings about this but unable to resolve, hence my 4 start vs. 5 star.For the price compared, as compared to other projectors, the XGIMI has much better quality even presenting on a White Painted wall. A UHD rated screen really makes it pop, but in most cases not needed. As the product line grows the pricing for these are doubling.The sound is amazing for such a small device. Built in Harmon/Kardon speaker works very well in presenting videos or web based training, no need for external speakers unless you are in a large auditoriumThis replaced a 50in UHD Vizio LCD TV which locked up when connected to a Laptop via HDMI.

Pregi:Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo (comparandolo con proiettori Home Cinema).L'ho installato e sto proiettando su uno schermo di larghezza 220 cm (16:9). Le immagini sono molto nitide e ben definite, sia con DVD che con BluRay.Si connette ad internet direttamente tramite WiFi, ed anche in questo caso la qualità di visualizzazione è ottima.Anche il telecomando è ben fatto. Semplice ed intuitivo.Difetti:Anche se non molto rilevante, la traduzione del menù in italiano lascia un po' a desiderare. E' comunque comprensibile.Per chi vuole avventurarsi con sistemi screenless questo proiettore è sicuramente un ottimo punto di parteza.
