The NinjaTiger Kitchen Sink Drain Strainer fits and works perfectly in my standard drain. The original strainer was a real pain to use and the o-ring kept stretching and falling off. This one is made of fairly thin stainless steel compared to the old strainer, the collection cup holds less, and it drains a bit slower, but any of these minor nits are far outweighed by the NinjaTiger's ease of use compared to the outmoded original design. Good product.

This dish drainer boasts that it is a new and improved engineered dish drainer, which struck me as a bit ridiculous at first, but it actually is. I really loathe pulling the drainer to empty out the nasty bits into the trash. With this, the strainer portion pulls out easily to be dumped while the wide, shiny lip and stopper remain in place. This is a whole lot better; there's no refitting it back in place. The wide lip assures that more nasty bits are rounded up, not slipping down into the drain when you pull out the strainer.These two differences alone are a big improvement. I know, dish drainers, who cares. I care, because this is something I use every day, and it's nice that someone's designed a better one.

This little two piece set is fantastic! It fits virtually any kitchen sink, and is super easy to install. The seal is amazing,but it's also easy to remove when you need to. The top part with the drain holes it awesome because it allows you to catch food particles you might not want going down your drain. Really ideal for any kitchen.

I simply pushed the strainer into my existing drain - be sure to keep the outer seal (around the outside of the strainer base) on the polished area so it seals securely. The pop-up drain worked smoothly and the strainer held water in the sink, no slow draining.The holes are a little small, which is a good thing in that it keeps more debris from going down the drain, but it does mean it will need emptied more often. The edge of the strainer also creates a little lip around the drain, so some water will remain in the sink - I don't see this as a major issue, however.The entire strainer is made from metal, which I love. This is a good addition to my stainless steel sink and makes it look sleek and lux.
