This actually worked for me. On a impromptu and short noticed diagnostics and programming job. A guy reached out to me to delete AFS/ADS on his F30. It took a long time to get it setup because I had to research Static IP configuration on my phone for ethernet settings and then applying said ethernet settings and it took some time with my S25. There's a process to follow if it doesn't allow you to save the settings on android... Anyways. Charged the guy 100 bucks to delete his ADS, took 30 minutes after setting up the cable and connecting to car. Connects fine with ISTA and a laptop with BMW Standard tools. Also works flawlessly with Bimmergeek's Protools. That was the programming app I used to delete ADS on F30. Works fine on E Series. Have not tried G Series. Works on E and F series vehicles, with no major issues on Windows devices or Protools. Connection stayed stable and strong the while time and no lapses! I'm sure other BMW Andorid based diag and programming applications would work as well. Great cable, affordable and functions as advertised. Much cheaper than competitors, comes in Blue! Wish it had a case and instructions for setup. If you would like instructions, maybe you can commission me...

Downloaded ISTA and hooked up this cable to laptop and immediately worked. Saved me a ton of money to perform my transfer case fluid change. Very happy with this purchase as it was one of the cheapest cables I saw. Easy to use.

It doesn't work on BMW X5 - I tried with 2 laptops and still couldn't connect/detect by VIN. Update from the previous review: I finally got it working with a usb-c to ethernet adapter. It's purely 'user error' on my end so the AntiBreak E-NET cable is working as intended thus I changed the rating to 5 stars

Used for x5 with ista and worked fine

Product didn’t work. It would connect to my M4 but I couldn’t run any diagnostics. Kept getting connection error. Very frustrating bc I didn’t know it was the cable. I got another cable that was much thicker and it connected immediately. The one positive is it has a LED.

Just to say that this worked without problems connecting laptop with ISTA/INPA and all that BMW diagnostic crap to my F-13 650i. Pretty inexpensive to be such a specialty item...that works.

Worked well for some things but to tune my car it did not with BM3. Bought a yellow one and it worked fine. Unsure why

Worked like a champ to clear a SRS code I tripped when removing the overhead map light console on my F15 X5. Saved me $$$$$ and now I have a fantastic diagnostic tool.

This ENET OBD2 cable works great and was a perfect replacement for my lost one. It connects reliably, feels well-made, and does exactly what it’s supposed to without any issues. Simple, effective, and good quality.
