I've been using this product over a year and love it. First of all, the ingredients are simple yet beneficial. No excessively long ingredient names I don't recognize; just vegan and simple. Secondly, and I don't know the others who find the taste not to their satisfaction, but I find it's tasty and not chalky. I make my morning smoothie with plant based milk (chickpea milk from Sprouts with 10G of protein), add Truvani (20 g of protein), a 1/4 a cup of frozen strawberries and bananas, a 1/4 cup of frozen blueberries, and some green powder or a handful of fresh spinach, and 1/4 cup of rolled oats. That's an entire, healthy, high protein meal in a cup that TASTES GREAT. Love the chocolate flavor too mixed with coffee for a great tasting mocha, high in protein!

I’ve tried a lot of protein powders, but Truvani truly stands out. It’s 100% Whole-Food Plant-Based (WFPB) compliant, and every flavor I’ve tried has been absolutely delicious. What I love most is the simplicity—just five clean ingredients, all of which you can actually pronounce. No fillers, no junk, just real food. The texture blends smoothly into shakes, oatmeal, or even baked goods, and it doesn’t have that chalky aftertaste that so many other powders do. It’s light enough for everyday use but still keeps me satisfied and fueled. If you’re looking for a protein powder that’s clean, plant-based, and actually tastes good, Truvani is the way to go. I’ve been adding more protein to my diet and whey powder is great but makes my stomach upset. Tried this pea protein and after reading many reviews of this product and others it sounds like they are all challenging to mix. The amount of powder to equal a serving is a lot! Same with whey and other protein powders. I wish it was more concentrated. I can only manage to eat about 1/2 a scoop. Mixing it with yogurt was terrible - it became crumbly like biscuit dough. Mixing it in hot cream of wheat worked well. The taste is not great - the sweetness is sharp and I don’t taste the vanilla at all. Next time I’ll try the unflavored. But overall I do not get the same bloating or stomach issues with this powder and I’m relatively happy with it. Packaging and smell are good. The clean ingredient list is great but the price is a lot.

Best tasting dairy free, gluten free protein powder I’ve found!

I love this protein. I love how clean the ingredients are, it does not affect my stomach badly at all. the taste is not like other protein powders because it has real ingredients, so don’t expect too much. But I have come to love the taste of it. Also very good mixed in yogurt and peanut butter like the recipe on the bag suggests! Highly recommend.

This is my favorite vanilla protein powder. I love that it only has a few ingredients and that it's tested for heavy metals. I feel safe eating it.

Overall, this protein powder was just okay for me. The flavor is decent, but it definitely doesn’t taste like ‘cake batter’ or a ‘vanilla milkshake’ like the bag suggests—it’s much more mild and less sweet than I expected. The texture is also slightly chalky even after mixing well (I mixed it with almond milk in a shaker bottle). It’s not clumpy, which I appreciate, but it’s not completely smooth either. This is the only plant-based protein powder I’ve tried, so I don’t have much to compare it to, but as a standalone product, it’s fine—just didn’t fully live up to the flavor hype.
