Best resemblance to the Anime
If youre looking for a FMA watch, this is the one to get. I trusted this one and im really glad i did. Its probably the closest youll get to what is shown in the anime.-12oclock is on the left side of the watch.-Writing is sideways.:: "Don't forget 3.Oct.10" (((Original FMA says "dont forget 3.Oct.10" while FMABrotherhood says "dont forget 3.Oct.11"-Chain is great great quality. There are only a few Very minor problems that can easily looked past and I'll start with the most obvious::-1:Its black rather than silver - yes this may seem like a really big bummer but honestly, the blck makes it look really cool and the amazing quality of it is worth it to look past the color-2: The pin holding the cover on tends to slightly slide out of the threading, But it can easily be pushed back in if you just use something like a key or a coin to push it back in. (pic)-3: The company name and licensing and etc are below the writing on the inside cover, but its no big deal, it had to go somewhere and its not too big and too noticeable (pic)-4: The turning dial to change the time is kinda difficult to pull out, HOWEVER it keeps the time PERFECTLY even after a few months, so you only have to deal with that one time and its not that big of a deal if you get a knife or a paperclip to slide under the thin opening-5: Its not as big as in the anime. in the anime it takes up Erics whole palm nearly, but come on the practicality of making something that big isnt very reasonable

nice pocket watch
This isn't the best for cosplaying, it isn't the same color as the one from the show which was a bright silver. This model is almost like a gunmetal black. Still very nice though, it is a working time piece and is engraved nicely. I don't like the type of chain they used, if it twists and enough pressure is applied the links will break fairly easily so be careful of that. It doesn't twist the wrong way easily so you should be fine ,but I stood up fast when the coil of the chain was bunched up and it caught on something, the chain broke and I had to get a new one. Not really that big of a deal. Also because of the finish they used it is susceptible to getting smudge marks all over it from coming into contact with your hands. All that being said I love it and use it all the time, I think it's little quirks give it character but definitely look into the other types out there before buying I think there are like five version of the pocket watch you can buy.

Good if you're on a budget
All FMA fans search for the right pocket watch. I wanted an official one so I went with the US official version because it's nearly $180 cheaper than the Japanese COSPA one (more on that later).I reccomend this watch for any cosplayer who has a budget to keep, and here's why:CONS: The watch is very dark in color. I don't know why, I guess it was cheaper. I think it feels okay, but plastic silver would've looked better than this in terms of accuracy. The back of the watch has a flamel, which is great for merchandising, bad for cosplaying. The back should be blank. The second hand circle seen in the anime is nonexistent but it does have all the hands needed to tell the time down to the second. It took me a minute to figure out how to set the watch. At first I thought it didn't work. For those wondering, you need to push down on the top for it to start ticking and pull up on it until you hear a click to set the time. If you press the button it opens. Finally, the chain... It is probably the most inaccurate thing on here. It's not even a chain. It's more like metal coil / cord.(The Japanese ones are usually made of actual silver and are highly accurate. I reccomend tracking down the $200 COSPA one if you're a professional cosplayer. I've seen some $50 ones that look a bit better than this popping up on Ebay the last few weeks. You may want to get those.)Size: It's small compared to the source material, but handy. One other note to mention: I did not find a way to change out the battery. Seems kinda odd for a watch, don't you think? :(PROS: The watch is over all well-made for the average $25 you shell out for it. I'm pleased with it since it does function as a watch and it has the strap to hold it to your belt. Sadly, that's all I can say that's good about it. I hope to spray paint it a better color on the outside and find a more suitable chain, but those are easy fixes.I give this a 4/5 because it serves its purpose at a good price, but it is not accurate to the manga/show.

Perfect!
I bought this for my roommate for her birthday and am definitely considering purchasing another for myself! It came in the packaging, working - which was a concern of mine! It was easy to wind and looks beautiful, no scratches or anything (the clock part was covered in plastic that was easy to remove). Great for cosplay or just daily use.

The Good and the Bad
I purchased this product and I was really happy with the seller as the product came very quickly in the mail. Unfortunately the watch I got was a little different from the one pictured (I liked the brass-ish look but mine is silver and I got a different chain) which is not a very big deal. The design on the front lacks detail and feels like it is made of half plastic metal. I wasn't too concerned with the look though because I was after a functional pocket watch. This was my main issue, the watch I have is very slow. I am going to get the battery replaced and I hope that fixes the problem but the watch is making me concerned that it may be the watch itself. It is a half-decent replica (if that is what you're after) but as far as pocket watches go I was hoping for more. The seller is effective at their job but the product is a bit lack luster.

Dissapointed.
What I received, at first, was a very promising looking pocket watch. However, when I poened it, I found that the minute hand and second hand only fidgeted back and forth. There was no functionality to this piece at all. It looks nice, so if you wish to buy it for cosplay or for display, it's a good buy.

Perfect gift for Fullmetal Alchemist fans
A very good watch. Comes with a battery and chain and has the engraved message of Ed.I just wished that the date inside were 3. Oct. 11 instead of .10It's smaller than the anime one, but it's the perfect size to fit in a normal pocket.
