Works perfectly
Recently got a new dish box but no remote came with it. The old remote I've had over 6 years was not working unless I was standing near the box. This purchase after programming has got me working like it supposed to now.

Works great for Dish
Package came with virtually no instructions other than the codes for connections to devices other than dish. Have not tried it for the TV or others as we have the regular remotes available.

Couldn’t program
I received the first one that I couldn’t program or the second one. I have 4 that I have used throughout the house and programmed them with no problems. I needed to replace one that was not working very well. My working ones are the same model.

Worked with Dish Straight out of the Box - TV Took a Couple Attempts
I had to work a bit to get my "Hisense" TV to power on and off with the remote, but I didn't have to do a thing to get my Dish 722vpk operating other than put in two AAA batteries---a bonus since the original remotes required four!The provided codes didn't work for my TV, but the auto programming worked after doing it twice. First time took a while and wouldn't power on-although it powered off my TV. The second time it took less than a minute and I'm good to go![Press and hold the TV button until it remains lit, then slowly press the (big round, blue) up button-- eventually TV powered off. Pressed pound "#" to end programming.]I repeated the process and after only a few button presses, the TV turned off. I pressed pound, and this time, the button worked to turned it back on again!Why did I wait so long to get a functioning remote?!

It works, but the instructions are garbage
Works with Dish and my Samsung tv but we had to figure it out ourselves. The instructions are not written by some who speaks English

Good product that is fairly priced.
Exactly equivalent to original Dish remote at about half the price. UPDATE: This is my second purchase and I am still impressed with the quality, price, and ease of setup.
