I am, perhaps, not your average cyclist. I am 68 years old, have mild COPD, dodgy knees and am somewhat over weight. However, I ride my aerobike every day and am delighted with it.I can manage all but the steepest of hills with ease and find that I can comfortably do about 15 to 20 miles per trip. More than 20 miles requires extra effort because that is about when the battery runs out of oomph. Although this is only two thirds of the claimed 30 mile range I believe this is due to my weight and the fact that I don't pedal as hard up the hills as a younger and fitter person.I almost forgot to mention the SRAM automatix gears, probably because you don't have to think about gears at all when riding. There are only 2 gears but in this case, 2 is enough.The build quality of the bike seems to be good and its a good looking piece of kit too.If you are considering the purchase of an electric assisted bike, you should not overlook this one.

I am 57 year old man with bad knees, and walking any distance is painful, so I have purchased the aerobike for exercising. The bike takes a little bit of getting used to, as soon as you pedal the motor kicks in, and you feel it. When you approach a hill I alway speed up, but on this bike with the auto gear you need to approach steady in low gear and just pedal steady and the motor gives you the assistance you require.Overall everyone who has been on it can't believe the power, very impressive.

I’m very disappointed with this bike.It does look great though.Very poor quality build, bits missing and my sensor broke for no good reason.Customer service is always in denial and want to shift the blame back to you.I’ve converted my own bike in the past so have clear idea of what to expect. No thumb throttle doesn’t help when pulling away and you get zero assistance up hills.I’m in my third month now, so have had plenty of time to settle in with the bike, I haven’t actually rode it in a month. I have to take the sensor off my old bike to repair the new one.Luckily, I like the frame and think it will make a great bike for conversation.I could NOT recommend anyone buys this product or deal with this company.Very disappointed!!!

Overall the Bike is great value for money, the one big issue is the gear ratio of the SRAM Automatix 2 speed.the bike has a 48 tooth chain ring with a rear sprocket of 18 teeth, low gear on the SRAM is a 1:1 ratio giving a 71.5 inch gear. however the SRAM Automatix system changes up to the higher gear way too early, this gear has a 1:1.37 ratio giving a 98 inch gear, this is fine if your name is Hoy or Kenny but for your average person its way too big to turn on all but the flattest of roads even with the electric motor assist. I have swapped the 46 tooth chainring for a 39 tooth and this gives more user friendly ratios. Ideally the makers should have fitted this with a 38 tooth chainring which would give an 81 inch high gear.

I am 52 and occasional cyclist in the warmer months but I decided to purchase this bike for the colder months,and I must say that it has renewed my love of cycling.It is incredible how you can enjoy bowling along and not worry about any hills although you have to keep pedalling the bike gives you a boost when needed making it so pleasurable to ride.I cannot recommend this enough if you are thinking of it just try it you won`t be disappointed.

If used as an ebike 5 stars but for switching to normal bike the gear seems to make it very stiff to peddle

great product the best purchase i have made makes my life to get to and from work as most time i am tired after 12 hr shift i highly recomend you buy one of these bikes they make cycling much better and easier as the motor kicks in cycling become better less work on the cyclist as the bike dose the hard work for you

fantastic bike lovely to ride, I have bought this mainly to ride to work as there are a few hills on my route it has made, it very easy and I am extremely happy with this bike.
