MSR Hubba NX Tent

Excellent, super lightweight one person tent. I used one while hiking 1800 miles of the PCT in 2016. I've just bought another one for a long distance hike in the Balkans. Build quality is of a very high standard. It's Free standing too.

well made, easy to put up, stood up well in a thunderstorm. good sized porch and handy inside pockets for glasses etc...tent bag is very roomy and easy to put the tent back in, even when wet. There ARE lighter tents out there for backpacking but works well and compact for use when cycle camping.

Super quick setup, relatively lightweight

The main attraction for me of the Hubba NX was it's 1.1 kg weight, with my upcoming 14 day trek on the GR20 in corsica in mind. From past experience I want to keep my rucsac weight as low as possible, as on this trip in particular I will be carrying a lot of food and water.It took me a few trips to get used to my Hubba NX, and get the position right but now i'm familiarised it can be pitched easily in just under 3 minutes. The fly is good and waterproof, the groundsheet is wafer thin but tough, the toughest most lightweight material I have seen thus far. You can actually sit up in this tent which is nice on those occasions when your rained in, as you don't have to brew up or cook lying down.One possible negative for some people, be warned that even for a lightweight solo the interior is on the narrow side, about the width of my thermarest plus an inch. This is the trade off for having a taller tent that you can sit up in, and means your rucsac has to stay outside in the vestibule. However it would be petty to give it less than 5 stars because of this, after all it is a lightweight solo tent.All things considered it does it's job well and I heartily recommend it.

At the bottom of Snowdon with gusts 30-40mph, the fly sheet ripped. Not good enough for the money.

La he utilizado tanto en bosque como en alta montaña y me ha ido muy bien. Es bastante ligera (menos de 2kg) y su protección contra el viento y la lluvia es genial. Hasta me ha tocado nieve y granizo y no he tenido problemas. La única desventaja que le he encontrado es que si en el piso hay arena o tierra demasiado fina, puede que una pequeña cantidad se meta a través de los hoyos de la lona.

Buena y ligera tienda de campaña pero algo frágil con vientos fuertes. La varilla del armazón quebró y rajó la tela del techo. El servicio de garantía y la atención recibida por parte de la tienda para subsanar el problema fue muy bueno. Un diez para ellos.

Took this tent on a 3 week hiking trip in France. I was no expert camper but this tent is easy to erect and pack away. Definitely only room for 1 person. I kept my pack inside the tent too, which was a bit squeezy but doable. Loved the pouches for small items that I wanted to find in a hurry. Also loved the ties in the centre where I could attach my headlamp. I bought the groundsheet separately and it was invaluable. Not sure why it doesn't come standard with the tent. I did buy extra pegs and guy rope too. The storage bag, without poles, could be compressed to a very small size so it easily fitted into my 36L pack with the poles in a side pocket. I did a few practice runs on setting the tent up and packing it away before I did my hike and it made a difference when I was on the road.

さすがMSRです。初めて設営したときは、生地がちょっとペラペラかなとも思いましたが全く問題ありませんでした。ダブルウォールでこの重量なのでソロ用として満足しています。（エリクサー２も持っていて比較してみて感じました。）バイクや自転車での輪行キャンプツーリング向けには最適。
