I use this on my IPhone video cage to hold and external power bank, the clamp is strong and it seems to be a decent build quality, I have only used it once for an indoor shoot and it worked great. I hope it does the same when outside filming car events where a lot of movement is involved.

Probably good for smaller power banks. (Think normal pocket sized banks.) I simultaneously ordered some power banks to use with this but I need to order a different mount because although this "can" hold them, it doesn't do a great job with how thick they are. You need a bank 3/4 inch or thinner for this to be a great fit.

In my initial unboxing I was planning on giving this 4 stars because I felt the plastic build of this clamp didnt seem sturdy enough, but after using this clamp many times now I can confidently say that this earns 5 stars. this has held up perfectly clamping batteries, and SSD and even my USB C Hub. the ease of use has been great and versatile. this has been a great addition to my rig set up!

love it when a product is priced right and is exactly as described. using it to hold a battery bank while the iPhone is mounted to a wall for Zoom meetings.

I like that it expands pretty well and can hold a chunky power bank without issue. The cold shoe fits perfectly with my smallrig iphone case. It’s certainly compatible with a wide range of power banks. For the price you pay I don’t think there is a more robust and reliable product.

The build quality is good and it works as expected, but the grip isn’t as strong as I hoped. When using it with an Anker power bank on my camera setup, it doesn’t feel fully secure. You need to be careful and hold it when moving the camera to avoid slipping. Overall, decent product, but could use a stronger clamp for better stability.
