Why is there caramel in this?

It is there purely for colouring

This is described as "antiseptic disinfectant" but it just says "antiseptic" on the bottle . is it still a disinfectant too?

Details from the Dettol site: Product Features Dettol Antiseptic Disinfectant liquid is a concentrated antiseptic solution Kills bacteria Provides protection against germs which can cause infection and illness Kills germs on skin Protects against infection from cuts, scratches, and insect bites

Do dettol do 4lt or 5 lt bottles.

I have never seen them in the Supermarket in 4 or 5 litre bottles. Their contact number is: 0333 2005 345 it's best to call them and ask just in case they do!

Can i disinfect beard trimmer with Dettol?

I probably would use the Disinfectant sprays made for Disinfecting Beard Trimmers. But if it was just for the plastic guards, then I don't see why not. Probably would have to wipe off afterwards though because a slight whitish residue can be left behind.
