Batana Butter

Great! Smells great! Purchased for my wife!

Idk, if it’s supposed to but mine arrived as a solid object that’s almost unusable. I’d need a Candle warmer or something to get this into any sort of usable hair product and I’ve used coco butter and stuff forever.

This product was chalky and flaky. It has the strangest consistency and it would not blend into my hair or scalp, it looked like I was adding orange mud to my hair.. not a fan at all

This didn't feel or smell like the other Batana oils I've purchased. It doesn't even smell like coffee. But, I love the way it makes my hair feel. It's moisturizing. The scent is light and it's texture is not sticky nor a heavy oily feel. I like the value I paid for it. It seems to be making my hair grow so I'm sticking with it for now.

So I really wanted to like this batana oils, I've used other batana oils and have been really happy with how they my hair so soft and shiny. There's something off with this butter, all I can say is other batana oils I've used have a distinct smell, sort of coffee/smoky, this didn't smell at all. That's not necessarily bad but it also was considerably harder than the other butters, even in my hand. I didn't think too much of that and followed the online instructions to keep it in your hair for at least 30 minutes before rinsing out. And that was the problem. That hard butter wouldn't rinse out at all at normal temperatures, I had to shampoo four times in increasingly hot water before it finally melted enough to come out. Maybe I just got an off batch and I'll try to find some use for it but but I would not use it as a hair mask again, way too much work to remove and I think all that shampooing removed any possible benefit too.
