This is to hide scratches for only a short time. Mainly used for car dealers who want their car to look good as they sell it. Now, on the other hand I own a black truck and I use it all the time and I like it it's a good product. I usually use mother's goal to wax my vehicle and then later on in between waxes I'll use this product which works well and hides scratches I have a black Toyota Tacoma truck. She's a '96 but she looks beautiful, has a great paint job on it. Yes, I would recommend it. But just be aware it's not for long term use it's something you would want to use in between I don't mind it works good. You won't be wasting your money.

Recently, I purchased this formula 1 car wax to hopefully remove some scratches that occurred on the hood of my car. I applied three applications the product and was pleasantly surprised.Now , this wax did not completely remove the scratches, but it did make it less noticeable. I think with a few more applications of this product, they will not be visible to the naked eye at all.

I started using this product in the early 1990s. It's great for waxing older, weather-worn and scratched car finishes... you don't get the white marks that highlight the imperfections like with regular wax.That said, it is NOT touch-up paint... it's NOT going to fill scratches and chips, or make them disappear. It will, however, color them and make them far less noticeable.I bought the red wax to "hide" the scratches I put on the hood of my wildland fire engine this summer, when I had to drive it through multiple barbed wire fences. Did the scratches disappear ? NO! Are the scratches (down to primer) far less noticeable? YES?A couple of tips:1. Keep the bottle inverted a couple of days before using, then shake it VERY well to disperse the color agent into the liquid.2. Apply on a warm day, and NOT in direct sunlight. It's a pain in the butt to buff this stuff if you apply it to really hot metal.3. Apply the wax in very thin coats. Again, it's a pain in the butt to buff out if applied too thickly.4. Wear disposable gloves, or your hands will be whatever the wax is for days.5. Don't get the wax on anything you don't want to be colored... even pinstriping will take on the color of the wax.6. You can add additional spot-coats to chips and scratches, after buffing... it will help conceal the imperfections.

This product doesn’t fill even the lightest scratches. Its shine and hydrophobic qualities are extremely sub par. The shine left is hazy and any scratches, however light, are not diminished in the slightest. Very disappointing.

I bought this hoping to remove some scratches left by a fine outstanding Walmart shopper who decided my Cadillac looked like the cart return. Though it didn't fix the scratches it did create the brightest high gloss shine of any product that I've ever used. I will certainly continue to use it and thanks again to the fine outstanding person who ran the cart into my car because without whom I never would have known what a quality product that this is. I have suggested it to many other friends and will continue to do so.

Ordered this to attempt to restore color and shine to a few areas on my truck. Florida sun is brutal to car paint. After several applications it appears to work. I plan on doing a few more applications then a coat of really good wax. This is probably the best solution vs repaint.

It helps in decreasing swirl and minor scratches. It does not give shine like 3m wax or Wavex sealant, but adds a layer of protection. Adding extra layer synthetic wax or sealant will hold the shine for longer time. Good product
