Too heavy and not fast enough but great at going over rough terrain.
I bought this scooter for my then 7yr old son - he's very tall. It fitted him fine and is great at going over all terrains which is why i thought it would be good for him so that he could use it in the park etc not just on paths/pavements. However, this is a very heavy scooter and just doesn't go fast enough for him - his sister is zooming off and he's putting in way more energy with no effect....Every time he has to lift it up a kerb it swings round and bashes his heel/ankle and it's painful - I've used it too and found the same problems. I will be buying him a faster lightweight scooter in the near future so he can keep up with his sister and friends.

Tbf all terrain scooter
Great scooter. We have one already for older child. Tyres are wearing ok. The tyres are the one thing that needs addressing. The tyres are 200 x 40, any replacement tyres are only available in 200 x 50 fine on the front because it has space within the forks, but the rear tyre would not fit because of deck clearance . But so far we have not had to replace the tyres yet. They are hard wearing with over a years use so far.

A hoot of a scoot
Excellent in everyway. This is not a stunt scooter but good for pavement riding or in parks on roads and grass.

Can also be for a 5 year old with a bit of cutting
My 5 year old wanted a scooter with big wheels we were concerned as this one is for 8 + but brought it anyway . When I put it together the bars were a bit high for him so I had to cut 80mm off and re slot the end and now it's perfect for him

Good quality
Very robust scooter. My son loves it. It's not as fast as the small wheeled scooters of course but he can go almost anywhere on this. I'd love a bigger one for myself.
