Haven’t needed to use it yet, thank goodness. But I will tell you this… Every piece in the kit is well designed and executed. This was quite a deal, glad that I got it. I think you’ll be surprised at how high the quality is of everything in the package. If I ever need to use this gear, I’ll update this review. However, holding this gear in your hands gives you an increase in confidence.

As mentioned by others, the Hitch Receiver fits loosely on my truck. Shouldn't be an issue. Nice storage bog with room for a little extra gear.

So my brother gave me a call to come out and help him get his Jeep started that broke down on a dirt road in the middle of winter. We tried jump starting it and realized it's the starter. I didn't have a tow strap or anything but he had one of these kits with the trailer hitch receiver and a 20 foot tow strap. So easy hooking it right into your trailer hitch receiver and connecting the tow strap on both ends. He took the extra D shackle and connected it to the eyelet on the front of his custom front bumper and within 2 minutes we were ready to take off. And I was so impressed with it he actually gave me one today for my birthday. Even if you have to only use this once in a lifetime it pays itself off. The tow strap is holy cow heavy duty! The receiver d-shackle has bushings in it so it helps keeping it quiet and no extra wear and tear on it plus it comes with a locking hitch pin with a key. Plus on the D shackle there is a screw on the end so you just can't take that bolt out and somebody can steal it. They thought of everything with this kit and I believe it's a must-have for any off-road truck enthusiast. You never know when something's going to happen and being prepared is always the best thing. I am super happy that I got this for a gift and after using it Towing my brother home 6 miles it was definitely nice knowing that I'm going to have that type of security to get out of a sticky situation

I like how robust and heavy duty this recovery system is. It is made very well and nothing cheap about it. Firstly, the 3 inch recovery strap is very strong and with 30 feet length, it’s the perfect length for most recovery application's. Secondly, the D-Ring shackles and Receiver are made of equal quality. Very ease to use and set up. When it’s locked down, there’s no chance of it slipping. And the powder coating finish will hold up to rust. I feel confident this recovery system will hold up and perform very well. For the quality and price, I highly recommend it!
