Competitively priced and fast shipping
The part itself is very easy to install. It sits just under the top lid on the right side of my Maytag front loader. The machine has been going strong for 14 years without issue until now. My machine was throwing an F21 code, which is a code for "long drain". I inspected the filter at the drain pump to find nothing at all. Perfectly clean. I stuck my finger into the drain pump and the impeller turned freely. Then I pulled the drain tube from the wall and blew high pressure air to check for a blockage. Nothing worked to clear the F21 error code. Read some articles and found some Whirpool tech posts. Several of them mentioned the pressure sensor. I figured it was a good place to start. It worked perfectly and removal/install took about 5 mins.

Whirlpool F35 & Sud error
Fixed the dreaded F35 & Sud error on my Whirlpool Front Loading Steam Washer model WFW9700VW01. A dozen loads after changing the part, all is well. Called Whirlpool customer service and they were less than helpful with identifying the part number or explaining the error code. Be careful here, I almost ordered the wrong part. A part list is available from the Whirlpool website. The best whirlpool customer service could offer was to send a repair man out for a base $105, plus parts and labor. Found some great how-to videos on Youtube. A few tips: To disconnect part from frame, it's a half-turn clockwise. Part was a bit delicate, so be careful when removing and reconnecting clip/cable. 3 screws on top back to remove washer top. Found the hidden repair manual after removing the front panel below the washer door (another 3 screws). The repair manual, which was taped to the inside of the lower panel, provides details on the error codes and explains how to run the diagnostic tests. Good luck!

F35 code solved
Whirlpool W10249845 Pressure Sensor for Washerarrived as promised. This was a simple plug and play on my Maytag 5000 series front load washer.some people blame the manufacturer for this part failing, but most likely the failure is from: 1) too much detergent 2) non-HE detergent.

Mismatch between part number and part visual
I'm sure this is a perfectly fine part for the machines it's compatible with, but it doesn't work in my machine. Let me explain.Maytag's repair parts list for MHWE500VP00 (I tried to provide a link, but it was scrubbed) tells me that W10249845 will replace the analog pressure sensor switch. I searched for that number and found this part. The switch that came in my machine is red-brown over a good chunk of it, and this one is all black. The analog pressure sensor switch plug has a thing (I don't even know the term) that fits in a slot that the old part has. The new part doesn't have that slot, so my cable can't plug in. It *could*, if I cut that thing off, but for other reasons I'm not excited about it. For one, the system architecture looks a little different in the new part. If it could ruin the new part or ruin my machine, I'd like to know before I plug it in.Too long, didn't read: My machine's manual says this part will work. The visuals and physics of the part don't work. My machine is still broken.

Saved me loads of money
Purchasing this part for my Maytag washing machine on Amazon not only saved me money on the part, but I save a load of money replacing it myself instead of calling a repair man. Thanks to the part, but two thumbs down to my Maytag 9000 series washer. They just don't make them like they used to.

Even though the purchased part number was the same as the part in the washing machine it did not fit. But I did receive the part on time and I was able to return the part for full refund without any difficulty.
