Fab new Nokia 6310i!
Now on my third 6310i in 10 years, the first two lasted about 5 years each of very hard use and both had been dropped many many times, the last one rattled ominously for about eighteen months before finally dying. I have just managed to buy my 'new' (2003 vintage) one from 'we cost less' for £36 and it looks and performs like brand new! I am delighted with it....to think I have at least another 5 years of lovely, reliable, easy to use, beautifully designed Nokia 6310i to look forward to. I shall keep on the look out for others so I never have to use a different model.A design classic for sure, and built like one too.

NOT the original
After not being happy with a few handsets after Nokia 6310 era, I decided to go back in time. White this phone performed perfectly for 10years, the same cannot be said about this replica. I thought the green backlight on the keypad would not be no problem but I was mistaken. It is difficult to see the letters and if you do not remember their position from your heart, you will be strugling. Also, after half year of usage the main switch on/off button on the top of the phone is refusing to work. It takes lot of effort to switch it on to such extent that I prefer to leave it on all the time and operate the switch only when changing the baterry. There are many reasons I like Nokia6310 - battery life, form, simplicity, voice dialing and compatible build in hands free in my vehicle. It is a shame, but this replica is not what I used to have. I cannot recomend it.

Nokia 6310i
The product was bought to replace an old one, so I know the product well.I was very disappointed when after a week the phone started cutting out and switching itself off.I took it into a local repair shop to get it fixed which cost me a further £25 on top of it's purchase price. I agree this was my choice, rather than send it back to the company in Nottingham I had bought it from, as this would have taken even longer and having sold me a dud product I didn't feel happy dealing with them any further.

For simply phoning and texting you won't beat the Nokia 6310i
I purchased a silver Nokia 6310i when it first came on the market, it a superb mobile phone. Since then have purchased a host of mobiles ranging through other Nokia's, Samsung, of which I currently have three, but none have measured up to the Nokia 6310i.I decided that now in my early seventies I only want a mobile for use as a phone and on which to text, today mobile are so very complex for an aging gentleman and I didn't was the hassle, so via Amazon UK I purchased and identical 6310i. It was delivered three days earlier than advised and is in pristine condition, so I'm happy again and delighted with my purchase, a super mobile, in fact the best ever.

superb classic
Modern Nokias are far too complicated for me, a man who wants a basic phone with a little style and flair and this one has it in buckets, from the easy to read screen, to the man sized dimensions ( I hate having to talk into a throat losenge sized phone)Value for money, also it wont depreciate in value, will work if unlocked on any system all over Europe, possibly USA.

It's blocked
The phone is fine, but it is blocked and I now have to work out how to unblock it. Joshi gave some help but I would have thought that the phone would have come unblocked

A good, old Nokia that aged gracefully
This is exactly what I expect from a phone - to be able to make and receive phonecalls and to send and receive texts. And that's it. No fireworks. No useless apps. And most importantly, no touch screen. When you press the physical keys you actually feel like you're getting work done. The battery is so capatious that the phone will last two weeks in standby. Outstanding reception, even between reinforced walls. And don't get me started on Snake II.If you're a technological conservatist or a dinosaur like me, this is the right phone for you. And possibly your descendants.
