NOKIA 6700 slide - aluminium

I know i am supposed to write a review of the phone, but i think sellers should also be mentioned so potential buyers know that little bit more.I bought this phone from Talk Smart CoDespite there being a killer virus going around, the item arrived ahead of time! The seller is boss level!The item was well packed considering it was already boxed, and this is very much appreciated, although not required, thank you.Item was listed as new despite being an old Nokia 6700 slide phone, and i took a chance, and it payed off. Despite the box being opened only to insert the battery (UK/EU rules apparently) the phone and accessories are in pristine condition. So this seller was honest as well.About the phone:I'm going to skip 'features' like camera (5MP) and apps, since, well, this phone is around 10yrs old so you already know it's basically just about the calls, texts and camera and of course back to the old school ring tones.So, it's not a 'smart phone' and so it's not tracking my every movement, breath, stubbed toe rant where i curse at everything, conversation, mumble, thought or bowl movement. It's nice already. Like a time we forgot about that we only realise how badly we want it back when it's almost gone.It's also amazing no longer holding a laptop to your skull just to talk on the phone!Think about how silly we all are (were) for walking around like that!Another bonus is that now if anyone tries to mug me for my phone, they're very likely to wind up feeling sorry for me when they find out it's around 10 years old.It does weigh slightly more than my LGG4, (which will now be used at home only), but the weight difference is only very slight so i personally don't think it would be a bother for anyone.The handset is sleek and the slide is mechanism is very solid feeling, and it glides open and closed silky smooth.The screen is good and bright enough without being smart phone 100% blindingly bright, which is nice.The backlight for the buttons are also nicely lit too, like a warm glow about them.The only thing that bothers me is that this has facebook 'baked in' by the looks of it, and i don't think i'll be able to remove that, but I'm sure there's a guide on the internet somewhere to do that.

I am still waiting for my Nokia 6700 slide phone, every time I ask about it I get told to please wait. It has know been nearly three weeks.

I bought this 'phone to replace my partner's much loved Nokia 6700 slide which I managed to put through the washing machine. She would not countenance a more modern (e.g. smart) 'phone. Since this phone will have been out of production for some time I was happy to pay over the odds for a direct replacement from a museum... err, old stock! The phone was supposed to be Purple but turned up in a nice blue colour. The language, when first turned on, was Swedish which cased some problems until I found the old English manual. There are minor software differences between her destroyed 'phone and this new one which does cause some annoyance. No issues with the supplier thanks.

en fait il est comme neuf, il a du être réinitialisé car a démarrage j'ai toute la config' proposé à choisir, de plus tous les skin sont dispo, ce qui n'était pas le cas sur celui que j'ai acheté en France, à l'époque, peu après l'extinction des dinosaures :Dbref, une très bonne affaire pour un prix très intéressant.bon, désormais il faut payer les droits de douanes, donc on passe de 45€ à 63€ au final mais au moins j'ai un téléphone de rechange comme neuf au cas où ! =)

Nachdem ich im Laden dieses Handy gesehen hatte, war ich sofort begeistert; wurde doch durch viele negative Bewertungen zu diesem Zeitpunkt bei Amazon etwas in meiner Euphorie gebremst (angebliche Kostenfalle durch unbefugten stündlichen Internetzugriff). Daher wendete ich mich an Nokia und bekam prompt Antwort. Sie konnten sich dieses "Phänomen" nicht erklären; gaben mir die Auskunft, dass es werksmäßig nicht vorgesehen ist, es aber vielleicht bei Brandings der Fall sein könne... Also wagte ich es, und kaufte dieses Handy dennoch - in der Hoffnung, dass ich beim Starten und Einrichten alles richtig konfigurieren würde - ohne in diese "Kostenfalle" zu geraten... Mittlerweile sind 2 Rechnungen ins Haus geflattert und siehe da:KEINE zusätzlichen Kosten und das sogar trotz des Empfangs und Sendens von MMS (wurde in einer Bewertung erwähnt, dass man alles dicht machen müsse, eben auch das Empfangen/Senden von MMS - alles absoluter Quatsch!!!). Also ist dies KEIN Grund vom Kauf dieses Handys abzuraten!!!Und nun zum Handy noch selbst: Akku hält genau wie bei meinem alten Handy (Nokia Xpress 5310), bis zu 5 Tage mit vielem SMS-Schreiben. Verarbeitung (Metallgehäuse) klasse, eben mal etwas anderes. Farbauswahl auch sehr schön, habe mich für die lilafarbene Variante entschieden. Displayqualität super, Menüführung typisch Nokia, recht einfach, wenn man sich einmal durchgefuchst hat (einmal Nokiakind, immer Nokiakind, ;-)...). Sound des MP3-Players finde ich nicht so gut - im Gegensatz zu meinem alten Musikhandy wahrlich schlechter, aber deshalb habe ich es mir nicht gekauft, sondern wegen der integrierten Kamera. Ich kann nur sagen, diese ist wirklich klasse!!! Super scharfe Bilder, Details nimmt sie sehr gut auf (z.B. die Blumen in meinem Garten - postkartenreif!!!) usw... Ersetzt von der Geschwindigkeit zwar keine Digitalkamera, aber das soll sie auch nicht. Also, wer hier etwas Gutes haben möchte, dem kann ich dieses Handy nur empfehlen.Ein bisschen schade finde ich jedoch, dass die Smileys verschwunden sind, dass ich auf dem Display nicht mehr sehe, wenn eine SMS / Anruf eingegangen ist... Man kann das zwar installieren, aber dafür benötigt man wohl wieder den Internetzugang, muss irgendwelche Zertifikate herunterladen usw... Und, das ist mir die Arbeit nicht wert und man gewöhnt sich dran.Alles in allem: Das Handy ist wahrlich zu empfehlen, klein, handlich, leicht, gute Kamera, einfache Menüführung usw... und ich muss es nochmal erwähnen: Es loggt sich nicht unerlaubterweise ins Internet ein...!!! Deshalb habe ich eigentlich nur diese Bewertung geschrieben!!!

Le téléphone est vendu "neuf" alors qu'il est reconditionné.Après 2 ans, les défauts sont flagrants, couleur original du produit, pénétration de poussière dans l'écran, capot légèrement tordu.Le vendeur est malhonnête, manque de transparence et un tarif exorbitant.
