No holes. I used it to protect a join in my kitchen worktop by gluing it with No More Nails and sealing the edges with silicone.

What is the size of the T spike. I have a tiny gap between laminate flooring and door step need to know if it will fit down the gap?

My bar is now in the floor so cannot measure. I would suggest that you would need a minimum gap of 3mm wide and at least 5mm deep. Hope that helps.

Can this be used for connecting wood to tile and also carpet to laminate. Slightly different heights in between surfaces.

Hi this is good only for tiles to tiles or tiles to wooden floor for the rest you need the one with screwers in the middle.
