Great for boosting alcohol content in winemaking.
I use it for boosting my alcohol in 6 gallon wine kits. I add a liter of grape juice concentrate for every 2 or 3 lbs of sugar for balance. Great sugar....tastes, smells and looks great. Fine consistency that mixes well with must.

LD Carlson corn sugar is a great product for carbonating bottled beer. I highly recommend this product.

Get the 4lb bag
I was relieved when my order came in a professionally sealed package that's resealable by ziplock. I've seen other reviews where all they got was a tied bag that leaked. I can confirm the 4lb size comes professionally packaged. I'm using this dextrose for adding fizziness to my homemade apple cider.

It's the good stuff
It seems silly to write a review about corn sugar, but since people have written other reviews stating it is not the best quality, I wanted to represent the opposite experience. I am using this specifically for bottling beer. There is no odor at all to what I received, as expected, and it tastes exactly like I would expect as well. The beer carbonates and tastes as expected. Simply put, have no fear. This is corn sugar.

It's corn sugar and it carbonates my home brew beer just fine.
As mentioned, I use this corn sugar to bottle condition (carbonate) my home brewed beer. It's been doing just fine as far as I can tell. The bag is fairly thick and protects against accidental tears. Only thing I'd improve upon is I'd like to see it in a zip lock bag (same thickness) and it'd be perfect. I'll buy again when I run out.
