While the carton states the energy boost is "equal to 1 cup of coffee," it does not specify the exact mg of caffeine per serving. I understand the FDA does not strictly require exact caffeine amounts on nutrition panels, but as someone who does not drink coffee, that comparison is vague and hard to gauge. Listing the exact amount in mg would make tracking daily intake much easier. Aside from that, the performance, macros, and taste are fantastic.

Cafe Latte is my favorite flavor of Premiere Protein Shakes. In fact, it’s the ONLY one I like. I had gastric bypass surgery almost 5 years ago and I have tried several different flavors as my meal replacements when I don’t have much of an appetite. This flavor is the best. The only thing I wish I could change is if they made a Caffeine-free option. Then I wouldn’t have to feel bad about drinking these at night! This shake has all the vitamins and minerals I need to help supplement my diet. The smooth texture helps it not taste “too protein-y” like some of their other flavors. One shake is healthier and cheaper than a cup of gourmet coffee and that works great for my budget! Getting this shake as cold as you possibly can is the best way to drink it.

Tastes like cardboard chocolate but you can feel the protein and the effect of it on your body so ill be giving it a 4 star bc of that

A coworker turned me on to this protein shake coffee drink. The Premier Protein +Energy 30g High Protein Shake, Café Latte, and I was like “Wow.” She was like “Isn’t that great?” And I was like “Yeah!” So I bought this 12 Pack of Caffeinated greatness. The drink box says that it is equal to one cup of coffee and I can confirm that it keeps me awake and alert on my drive home from work. It is equal to a cup of “Yes Please!” At only 160 Calories, the content is… what a deal. At the end of the drink I detect some clumping, which can be a problem if you shake it, because then it will become foamy and not want to come out. But I found that shaking it early on is best. The cost is another concern, pretty steep for what it is. The quality of the contents is good enough for me. Maybe this is justified, and maybe not for some, but I am a happy customer. I will likely be trying some other flavors in the near future.
