Spontex Express System Flat Spin Mop

Works great on tiled and laminate floors! Instructions are minimal with basic diagrams but it was easy to understand! The handle is a great length (I estimate between 130-140cm?) so you don't need to bend over too much while cleaning the floors so its very easy on the back! It is of sturdy construction and it has an inbuilt spin dry function and the bucket itself where you put the mop into the water has ridges (similar to a washboard) that double to help clean the mop. The rectangular mop head itself flips up on either side to fit into the bucket and when taken out, mop placed against the floor and the handle pulled back towards you the mop head snaps back into a flattened rectangular position! Totally handsfree! Worth every penny I say!

Don't know how I managed before! This is the easiest mop I have ever used and it does an excellent job too. Easy to set up just put cloth onto head dip in water and detergent, place in spinner, move "collar" on handle up and down, take out place mop on floor and the sides fold flat as its pushed forwards. Easy peasy no arm work out needed so ideal for people like me with a useless arm. Mop heads available on Amazon so a neat kit with readily available spares. Recommend highly.

ok so i got this after buying another style spin mop form the market leader.. you know.. the red n black ones? i liked that one but the mod head was a bit annouying, i really liked the idea of having the flat mop head .. and after reading the reviews i figured id get this one .. Glad i did! its pretty awesome! does the job lovely, drys the floor pretty good after a few spins and the spinning its slef is kinda fun lol like someone else said, reminds me of a spinning top when i was a kid, only this don't whistle haha the only slight down side is when you put the mop in the spinner it can dribble dirty water over the edge if your mopping up a mess but other than that its brilliant!! and such a nice bright colour too. yes i know thats not really important but hey.. black n red is kinda drab this is all bright and cheerful lol i bought a refil for it so id say it a winner that im gonna keep using for as long as it lasts. oh .. the spinning handle bit keeps dropping down when i mop.. annoying but not much .. its pretty effortless .. dont need to " put your back into it" like my ole mum would say to get the muck up... ive got 3 dogs and a muddy garden.. i get a lotta muck up with this sucker!!

Used to be great but you could never get the refill head anywhere. They've now changed the design for the worse. The handy bucket that held the mop head firmly is gone- they've just removed it and added a 'screw' at the bottom you have to try to angle the mop into. The mop head keeps getting stuck at the sides every time. This also means that the mop head/sponge has a circular hole cut out of it, as you can imagine it is now pretty useless on your floors. Whoever designed this has clearly never used a mop before, or in fact ever trialled this design out. It needs to be changed back to what it was before, and more importantly, we need to be able to easily buy new mop heads. The handle is now also in one piece so if you're not careful you will get your fingers pinched as you go to spin it. Rubbish.

Thought I would buy this as I am wheelchair user I don't have much strength in my hands and none in my legs. It's purpose was for my wetroom first of all the big bucket is huge bigger than I would like. I find it very frustrating that the pole sways every which way so I want want go in straight line the head will go where it wants too. I wouldn't dare use this on my panelled wall in the wet room as I can feel the bottom part of the mop head scraping. Even when you flip up sides to do bottom half of the wetroom I was hugely disappointing as it couldn't get into it probably and scraped.However the spinning system does exactly what it's meant too. For me that is the only good part I wouldn't recommend this product sorry spontex need few tweaks to be perfect.1. Bucket size to big2. Mop handle pole needs to be able to put it in fix position3. I think the bottom part of the flat head needs better protection as it scrapes

I have been using a round head mop for a long time now, it was beginning to look a bit tired so thought I would order the same again even though I wasn't particularly happy with it, more an order through laziness. Having narrowed the options of mops down I took the time to look at the flat mops as a few popped up in the search and I am so pleased that I did. The flat head mop is far superior to a round head mop, the straight lines along the plinth in my kitchen are much cleaners, as are the corners of the room which a round mop couldn't get into adequately. I will be sticking with a flat mop in future.

The mop is not as I expected it to be it looks nice but the water doesn't drain properly when you spin the mop so you are left with wet floor. On top of that the parts loosens when you spin the mop so can be really annoying. Not so happy with my purchase.

Effortless cleaning and easy squeezing. Does not not put strain on your wrists and arms. Whilst it requires a bit of space to store i would reccomend
