when I toss and turn for hours and can not get to sleep I put 15 drops in water and go back to bed and before I know it I 'm asleep, I wake in the morning with no after affect,Its not a drug its herbs I swear by it.

Headline says it all really. The taste was awful and I am someone who hasn't had sugar for years so thought my taste buds wouldn't be so offended by any 'medicine'. I was wrong. It gets you in the gills as I always say when you feel the need for an involuntary head shake after it has triggered your salivary glands somehow. If you've ever watched I'm Celebrity when they have the bush tucker trial and you've seen how they react, well mine was the same and yet my need for sleep is so great that I endured this every night up until I felt able to sleep without it. If ever there was an incentive to get off to sleep unaided, this would be it.

I discovered this product by accident: my daughter left an unopened bottle in the cupboard. Suffering from moderate anxiety, I tried it with very little expectation. I was taken aback by how quickly I felt a relaxing effect - so quick, in fact that I was slightly disorientated. I knew from experience that natural remedies can be surprisingly effective and now I use Valerian every night. It does indeed smell and taste awful but you get used to it: I mask it with Ribena and take 20 drops per night as I get into bed. I fall asleep usually within 10 minutes after just one swig: if I wake I swallow the rest. In the morning I feel quite groggy but have slept and dreamt very deeply. The label states you can use Valerian for mild daytime anxiety and I find it highly effective for that too. It seems to ‘dismantle’ the anxiety in a very natural way, rather than suppress it. As a bonus, it costs a few pence a day. I found it best to proceed cautiously, finding the right dose for me: it’s pretty strong. It probably won’t work for everyone, but it’s been wonderfully beneficial for me.

Have been prone to disturbed sleep for years, although I go to sleep in seconds. This really seems to help me sleep better, although other lifestyle factors maybe also at play here.

Product is ok, taste is not good

As I use Valerian for my dogs, thought I'd give it a go for myself. After taking a 30 detox diet product for a few days, that was way too strong (for me), I was quite ill for a week, now can't sleep. So I'm taking nearly 30 drops, per directions (as it comes out quite fast, don't want to overdose lol) I'm getting to sleep quickly & staying asleep, which I haven't done for quite a while. I was waking up numerous times, for any noise, now I'm sleeping dead to the world. 😆 Tastes not great, my cat Weirdly tries to get his head in the cup afterwards. I've only used this for sleeping, not for stopping me from being irritated by Fireworks that seems to be going off near me randomly every p*ssing week.. Yh, very good product. 👍

Stood out as something different amongst the plethora of tablets and capsules that came up in my search. No real effect one week in. Still experiencing terrible insomnia. Suspect I may have been seduced by slick photos and marketing BS. But never mind, they have my money. I just hope THEY can sleep at night! As a matter of interest, trying to find out exactly HOW MUCH Valerian is in this. Neither the packaging nor the description seem to say.

Man kriegt das Zeug kaum runter und hat lange einen furchtbaren Nachgeschmack. Daher fällt es schwer die Tropfen wirklich täglich zu nehmen. Ob es funktioniert kann ich daher nicht sagen.
