It is completely ridiculous that the top area does not have a drip tray. All items above drip over the items below. The water drain is a great idea but does not clear our sink edge so its useless as well. The bottom area is open on both ends and small items fall out easily. Horrible design and I am sorry I bought it.

This dish rack does a decent job, especially considering the price. It holds a good amount of dishes and the included cutlery holder, knife block, and cutting board stand are definitely handy. However, there are a few design quirks that keep it from being perfect. My biggest gripe is with the water collection trays. They feel flimsy and have a tendency to discolor. Even more annoying is that they don't drain effectively. There's rarely enough water to actually make it down the spout, so most of it just sits there and evaporates, which seems a bit unsanitary. Also, while I like the two-tier design, be aware that water drips from the top rack to the bottom. This isn't a deal-breaker, but it does mean you need to be mindful of what you place where. The 9" of space between the tiers can also be a bit limiting for taller items. Overall, this dish rack offers decent value for the money. It's functional and has some useful features. However, the issues with the drainage trays and the potential for dripping between tiers mean I'd probably explore other options if I were buying again.

Looked ok but scratches easily. And you have to unplug the drain periodically.
