Kamen Rider V3 Complete TV Series

I own the prior generation Kikaida Release of this series, which was fantastic, and Disoctek has now rescued their US liscense of the series for their own high-quality collection of Toku releases. This is a review that predates this set releasing, and will more describe the core series itself as opposed to the quality of the release.Coming to us from 1973, V3 is the story of Shiro Kazami, who after his family is killed by the Terrorist Cult Destron (the successor organization to the Terrorist Cult Shocker and Gel-Shocker) is injured in a fight he is drawn into between Destron and the heroic kamen Riders Ichigo and Nigo. The two saved Shiro's life by using the technology from their own bodies toa ugment him into a cyborg like them; dubbed Kamen Rider Version 3; V3! Using his new abilities, Shiro fights Destron alongside recurring Kamen Rider Metnor figure Tobei Tachibana, and new allies that emerge over time. Take off to adventure, in the second Kamen Rider series that gave a name to a staple of Tokusatsu with the ever-charismatic Hiroshi Miyauchi, who would also come to star in Himitsu Sentai Goranger, JAKQ Dengekitai, Kaiketsu Zubat, Tokkei Winspector, Tokkyuu Shirei Solbrain, and Choriki Sentai Ohranger!
