Movicol Ease Stick Sachets (citrus flavour) are one of those products you don’t think about until you really need them — and then you’re very glad you’ve got them. They’re easy to use thanks to the stick sachets — just pour into water, mix, and you’re sorted. No measuring, no guessing, and much more convenient than larger tubs or powders. The citrus flavour is actually decent too. It’s not amazing, but it’s definitely more pleasant than you’d expect and easy enough to drink without feeling like a chore. Most importantly, they work. The effect is gentle and predictable rather than harsh or sudden, which makes them far more comfortable to use. They help things move along without that “uh oh, this escalated quickly” feeling. They’re also handy to keep around for travel or just as a backup for when things aren’t quite… cooperating. Five stars. Not the most exciting purchase, but effective, easy to take, and does exactly what you need it to do.

Effective but gentle relief from constipation. Dissolve a sachet in 125cc of water and swallow. Maximum dose is 3 sachets spread across a day. Taste is OK. Reasonably priced and quick delivery 👌

Bought this after starting mounjaro and struggling with a much slowed down gut. My daughter used to have the prescribed children’s version as a toddler when she had issues, and I remembered how gentle and effective it was for her. What it does is rehydrate what’s in your intestines, so have this and plenty of water and it helps bulk up and soften things to move it out gently. It does work but it’s not a “have one sachet and wait” type of treatment, so bare that in mind. It’s something you’d have at day 3 when you first notice things aren’t normal. I needed 4 sachets over 2 days before things moved and then I went back to normal, and I then upped my fibre through food and had a bit extra water. The taste is not great; who wants salty citrus?! Ha but I have to say I got used to it kind of eventually. Just the initial 2 glasses were hard work. But it does the job.

Great for people suffering ibs constipation and diverticulitis issues going to the toilet. It’s not a laxative but a stool softener so stop you getting constipation.

Great product! I was sooo backed up i looked pregnant and didn’t want to take stimulant laxatives again. After 1-2 days of taking this, it has made me go to the loo properly, no cramps, no pain and no rushes to the toilet and completely got rid of my bloating as well. (I struggle with bowel movements and don’t want to rely on harsh stimulant laxatives) Quick tip, it is more palatable in hot water and dissolves quicker. So easy to use.
