I got a few rolls of this fabric as a covering for our greenhouse to protect our plants and ourselves from the brutal Florida sun. Plastic cannot be used for most of the year because it will get to hot and kill your plants, hence the value of shade fabric. I have ordered a lot of different shade fabrics off of Amazon with mixed results. Some were high quality, while some were crap that only lasting a year before disintegrating in the Florida sun. I have found that ordering on Amazon is often a crap shoot on the quality. However, I have found Coolaroo has consistently been good quality. I my experience, their fabric lasts about 6-7 years in Florida. They are not the cheapest, but this is an example of "you get what you pay for" What I like the best about this fabric is the width. The typical 6' wide strips are a pain to use on a large greenhouse. The 12' width is easier to install because you spend less time connecting the different strips. Will buy more of these in the future as needed.

Has an invasive bunch of condos been built next to your home? Privacy compromised and a it's against city code to build a fence tall enough to restore it? I suggest you do what I have done. Set 16ft 4X4s about 12 feet apart and nail this great stuff UP! Let's the air thru, lasts forever, and is inexpensive but attractive. It's like putting up a big flag, so most city codes allow it. I bought this for the best prices available. I researched it. Good luck!

Great product, we used a staple gun to fasten the shade cloth to the rafters in the ceiling of our greenhouse and it was enough to cut the heat, it is no longer an oven in there. Product arrived in perfect shape and on time.

Much cheaper then Home Depot or other big box stores. Like the look, easy install. One great thing about this product was that there were no creases in the shade cloth. I expected to have to deal with wrinkles and the like. But it was easy to get smooth once installed.
