Not made in the USA, but good quality
This strap may be more or less stars. I haven't actually pulled anything with it yet, having only received it 2 days ago. One of the reasons I bought this brand was that it was mentioned as an answer to a question on the product page that it was made in the USA. Having seen some of the customer images and read reviews of some other straps, I didn't want poor quality to be delivered thinking it was a good strap. So I ordered this one.The box I just received says "Made in Taiwan to Explorer Procomp's specifications." So no, it is NOT made in the USA. But it looks like it has been manufactured miles better than the cheaply made straps I have seen.

20klb "Capacity" equals 6.5k working load...
Haven't had to use this (luckily) but read the fine print. The rating that is listed as "capacity" is actually the break load/strength. The "working" load is a third of the break strength. So while it says 20klb "capacity", the working load is 6,667 lbs. I have a supercrew F150 that weighs about 5600lbs or so without people or gear. So this strap would be about maxed out (working load wise) if I need it to pull my truck out of the mud.Better to have it and not need though...

Strong, well made.
I've been carrying this strap around in my FJ Cruiser along with some D shackles for about 18 months. Finally got to use it recently, pulling a Sprinter camper van out of a ditch. Got it on my second try after locking the rear differential. This strap worked well.

YEHAW BUDDY THIS WILL GIT-R-DONE!
Shipping came in less than two days even though it said a week, which was sweet justice. Already used it to pull my buddies f350 out of a mud hole down in Alabama, let me say this rope pulled out faster than a teenage boy trying not to have a kid. If I were King Kong`s dentist I would choose this as the dental floss of choice, this rope will not be breaking anytime soon.

Best bang for your buck, same old good quality
I've yet to do a full-weight recovery, but the strap has my confidence it'll be there when I need it to be. Buy with confidence, as this Pro-Comp strap lived up to my expectations, as set forth by my last one too.

Hope I never need it, but it'll surely do the job
If I ever have to use it, I'll update my review.I got up to my axles in soft sand and mud and didn't have my tow rope - I'd used it felling a tree and forgot to put it back behind the seat of the truck. Dug and scraped and tried to drive the truck out of the muck and only managed to dif down until I'd buried the frame, too. Some good samartitans in a big, proper, 4x4 happened upon me and tried to help but they didn't have a tow rope either, and we borrowed the thinnest and flimsiest piece of rope imaginable from a trucker who pulled over to watch The Idiot Stuck on the Beach. I don't know how that rope survived pulling my truck out, but it worked.Immedaitely ordered this strap. It is of excellent quality, with very good stitching. It wraps into a surprisingly compact roll and fits nicely behind my seat. Most importantly, at 20-feet, I won't be borrowing it from the truck to fell more trees.Hope I never have to use it, but if I do, I'll tell you how it worked.

Works great!
I've only had to use it once, but that one time I had to pull 2 trucks and an ATV out of a mudhole. The strap held up just fine. I hosed it off and rolled it up for the next time. Great product. BUY IT!!

Worth Every Penny
Pro-Comp straps have to be the best recovery straps in the marketplace. These are very durable and if cared for have a long life. I have used various sizes over the years and I have yet to see one fail. You get what you pay for.
