DEWALT 125mm XR Brushless Angle Grinder, DCG406N-XJ

Nice bit of kit, had batteries from other dewalt kit so this was good value. Very convenient for a quick diy task without running an extension lead. It feels solid and well made.

This is a compact powerhouse that offers exceptional performance, durability, and safety features. Its compact size, powerful motor, and advanced functionalities make it a go-to tool for professionals and DIYers seeking a versatile and reliable angle grinder. DEWALT’s reputation for quality shines through in this tool, making it a worthwhile investment for those in need of a high-performance angle grinder in a compact package. It features a tool-free guard and a quick-change wheel release, allowing for easy and efficient accessory changes. Whether you need to switch between cutting, grinding, or surface preparation tasks, this angle grinder provides the flexibility to adapt to various applications quickly.

The DEWALT DCG406N-XJ Bare Unit is a solid, professional tool. The brushless motor runs smoothly, with speeds up to 9000 RPM handling any task. Lightweight, ergonomic, and safe – 5/5!

Excellent professional quality tool very good quality. Handy for out on site, battery life good but you need a couple of 4 or 5 ah batteries to get best from it. Comes with speed nut as standard so no spanner to lose or slip.

Great grinder at a good price. Unit looked brand new, no signs of refurb or use. Note doesn’t include hardcase or tstak box. Also worth noting it drains 2.0A batteries in minutes, would use with the 5.0A.

Great angle grinder, I prefer the paddle switch over the side switch model (which I also have) it’s easier to use with gloves on. The brake improves safety, no waits for the tool to stop spinning. I would definitely recommend this especially if you’re already on the dewalt battery platform.

It’s light weight it works amazingly

Very well balanced with 4 amph battery for one hand operation. Good power. Doesn't take much space in my tool box.

I've used quite a few cordless grinders over the years, and this DeWalt 18V XR Brushless model definitely lives up to the brand's reputation. The brushless motor delivers plenty of power for cutting and grinding steel, while still maintaining excellent battery efficiency. The grinder feels well balanced in the hand, with a comfortable grip that makes it easy to control during longer jobs. The paddle switch is a great safety feature, and changing discs is quick and straightforward. As expected, this is a skin-only tool, so you'll need compatible DeWalt 18V XR batteries if you don't already own them. If you're already invested in the DeWalt ecosystem, that's a huge plus. Build quality is outstanding, performance is consistent, and it handles demanding tasks with ease. Whether you're a tradie or a serious DIYer, this is a grinder you can rely on. Highly recommended and well deserving of five stars.
