This is a great set of brushes to have. To me the barrel brush seems a little looser than I'd like, but otherwise all of the brushes serve their role perfectly making those harder to clean areas much more accessible.

They were a decent value. - All brushes work like they should.

I purchased this set to clean a .223 match 26” stainless fluted bull barrel. I’ve gotten in the apparent bad habit in the last several years to carefully use a bore snake with some CLP on the brush. The barrel was quite polished, shiny and appeared to be very clean.After watching some cleaning videos of long range match shooters and their cleaning methods with nylon brushes using bore cleaner and scrubbing. I bought these to give it a try. With a carbon fiber rod, bore cleaner and the nylon barrel brush I couldn’t believe how much residue it stripped.It actually shrunk my 100 yds groups by 2-3” down to sub MOA where this rifle is supposed to be.

I use nylon brushes on my AR and it can be hard to find chamber brushes in nylon - here it is as part of this kit! The barrel brush is a little small (usually nylon bore brushes are a bit oversize) but it does the job. If you have a chrome lined bore the nylon with some solvent is fine for cleaning it and you don't need bronze to get the crud out. The chamber brush is good for the chamber, there is a brush that fits the inside of the bolt which is nice and the big fuzzy one I'm assuming is for the upper receiver which you can also clean with a tooth brush - but hey its another gadget so why not!This kit is a good deal because you get the chamber brush and the other brushes are useful - buy it!

Where have these been my whole life

It's not the gas-tube (yet). Because of the gas pressure from the fired round that is required to cycle your BCG, carbon naturally builds up in an AR-action rifle these things are definitely required for proper cleaning. They fit snug enough and do a great job scrubbing-out the action.

Great for copper fouling. Could stand be a little more sturdy but maybe I just need to be more careful. Either way I am very happy with these and they are essential in properly cleaning my ar-15 upper and lower.

These are definitely well made and I know they'll hold up just fine, but this bundle is simply too expensive for what's included. I've used these products for a long time as I prefer the nylon bristles over getting copper bristles stuck in my fingers. They do a fine job and they hold up better than copper, but $16 is difficult to justify for four brushes. The one I really like is the upper receiver brush. The rest of them are of a shape and size one can get anywhere.
