CRAFTSMAN PushFire Reverse Squeeze Stapler (CMHT82642)

The stapler works great especially when I'm doing some jobs at work.

That being said it works well stapling into chip board, but will stop when trying to use it on heavier woods. The integrated staple remover is a bit too thick to be useful, it should have been tapered to get underneath a staple to lift; not sure what “Craftman” thought!>. It works on the “reverse” push principle - giving it longer range with less push. In theory it should make it easier to use, and for strength it actually does need less of push - but I always confuse the ends and have so often shot “blanks” into nowhere - now I have marked the wrong end with a “NO’ label! 😂>. It is very small when locked - a nice extra feature - with measurements of 6.25” by 3.75” by 1.25”. I like the compactness and lightness.I will update the review if I find any quality issues mentioned in other reviews. As for pricing I think it’s a little overpriced, probably paying for the brand.🌟 4 STARS⭐️ -> (*My RATE SCALE*: 5=perfect; 4=minor imperfections; 3=on fence; not sure if I’d buy again; 2= too many problems; 1= shouldn’t be sold or is dangerous).

This is 100% a great product.. just be sure to source craftsman staples or Arrow JT21. Universal staples do not fit this at all.I had to buy a multi pack of Arrow JT21 as they're the recommend option for this product.Works well.. Light pressure, but quick and easy. 5/5.

I never got is use this a single time. The very first use and the staples are jammed and cannot be removed. The suggestion for staples is very vague, only a length is listed. There is on other information on the stapler or the packaging.

This staple gun uses and requires the smaller size of staples. It's really easy to squeeze, small and lightweight, and shows signs of quality craftsmanship. The staples it uses are rather small and thin, and it doesn't come with any staples. You'll want to check the model numbers of compatible staples, because generic ones I tried wouldn't work, due to being too thick.

I have super weak wrists and hate the heavy staple guns. Every year we put up a haunted house and my family makes fun of me cause of how difficult it is for me to use a normal staple gun.. well not this year cause I've got this bad boy! It's so lightweight and easy to use. It didn't come with staples which is annoying but I'll get over it. It's also kinda pricey.

This is good for when you need some staples done without breaking out the heavy duty stuff. It is lightweight and feels like it's mostly plastic made so durability might be an issue, but I don't feel like this was made to be used at an industrial level. I was able to load my staples fine and fire off a few with no issues. I wouldn't use this for heavy duty construction or anything, but for smaller projects around the house it's perfect. Another good tool to keep in the bag.

The media could not be loaded. I was really rooting for this stapler to work, because it's smaller size fits well in my small hands. However this stapler did not work for me. It clearly states on the stapler that it will fit 6mm to 10mm width staples which is not the case. The staples of that size were too small in width & got stuck, so the stapler could not push them out. This stapler needs 12 mm width & finding 3/8 inch or smaller 12 mm width staples is nearly impossible to find. Using 1/2 inch, 12 mm staples does not work either because the staples are too long. This is a nice looking stapler, but it is not functional with the staples that this product suggests that you use. This stapler is definitely not worth buying.
