Game changer for canned drinks.
Really impressed with the quality of this topless can opener. It makes cracking open a drink way better because you can just take the whole top off cleanly. It’s durable, easy to use once you get the hang of it, and leaves a safe, smooth rim to drink from. Perfect 5-star buy.

Works great, but use care
This can top remover is well made and robust. It took me a few attempts to get the hang of it, but then it worked flawlessly. For me, however, unless I don't have drinkware handy or I'm in a hurry, I usually drink from a glass. One problem, however, is the growing use of increasingly thinner cans. My first try was with a Czech pilsner. Once the pressure was released, it was difficult not to bend the can with each turn of this opener. I tried another and found that If I carefully hold the bottom of a thin can while I use the opener, I am more successful. Now I use the technique of rotating the can from the bottom, which works great. Also, a few times when after opening slim cans (specifically, Blue Moon Light), a rather sharp piece was left on the rim (see the picture). It could be the can or the opener or poor technique on my part. This hasn't happened to me with a regular size 12 or 16 oz. can. Having the top of a can open for drinking is especially pleasant when drinking an aromatic beer, such as a well-hopped IPA. I also like having this opener for bike rides or other outings when I'm unlikely to have a drinkware handy. Regardless of a couple of caveats, I love this opener and use it often. I've gotten quite good at using it, and the only question other people ask about it is, "Where can I get one?"

Review: Top LIFT Beer & Soda Topless Can Opener
The Top LIFT topless can opener feels like one of those small inventions that makes you wonder why it didn’t exist sooner. Its design is simple, clever, and surprisingly satisfying to use. Performance on Standard Cans: For regular‑sized soda cans, it works beautifully. The tool grips well, rotates smoothly, and removes the top with a clean, even cut. It takes only a few seconds, and the result looks almost factory‑finished. Handling Smaller Cans: Smaller‑diameter cans—around 1 ¾ inches—are a bit more of a challenge. The opener doesn’t naturally fit these as well, so it takes a little more patience and adjustment. Still, with a steady hand, it does manage to take the top off cleanly. Cut Quality: Most of the time, the cut is impressively smooth. Every now and then, though, a small uncut section remains. It’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention, so it’s worth giving the rim a quick check before sipping. Bonus Use: DIY Planters One unexpected perk: topless cans make fantastic little aluminum planter pots. The clean edges and open top give them a modern, minimalist look, and the tool makes it easy to repurpose even the smaller cans. Overall A smart, handy gadget that works great on standard cans and well enough on smaller ones with a bit of effort. The clean cuts, versatility, and fun DIY potential make it a worthwhile addition to your kitchen drawer.

Cool but EWWW
Wife bought this for me for my birthday and its awesome...kind of... It's simple, cuts the top off as advertised with no sharp edges HOWEVER Not a single top has been held on by the magnetized cutter. Every single top I've cut off I've had to fish out of my tastes beverage. That means a nasty lid falling into my drink. I've even tested the cutoff lid against the magnet and its just super weak. I wanna give this a 5 star review but because of that this will land at a 3.

Unnecessary, but awesome at the same time
I ordered the standard black and grey color, but was sent the "ghost" white version instead. The color wasn't a huge deal for me so I decided to keep it, but I would've preferred the one I ordered. This is something that's been on my watch list for a while. Ever since seeing this product for the first time, I've wanted one. When I originally added it to my list, it was more expensive. As the prices came down, it became a bit more attractive. Honestly, I still had a hard time spending the money on a largely unnecessary can opener. That said, I'm glad I did! After reading and executing the instructions, this thing is a little tricky to use. Even after getting the hang of it, it doesn't work perfectly every time. Most of the time though, it works perfectly and leaves no sharp edges. Drinking out of the topless can is strangely pleasurable, especially when it's beer. You get the scent of your beverage without pouring it into a glass, and I believe it enhances the taste. Although some would argue that you don't need this opener and you can just pour it into said glass (true), it's a game changer for sure. Lastly, the day after I received the Draft Top LIFT, I was heading to a party. My wife suggested taking this with us, and it was an absolute hit! Everybody at the party was interested in this gadget. I got plenty of practice as I found myself opening everyone's cans throughout the party. It worked on everything from the kids soda to the adult beer and seltzer. I'm sure I sold a few of these for Draft Top. Summary: Do you need it? No. Should you buy one? Yes! Just do it!

Removes unhygienic can tops. An essential for picnics
I love this and take it everywhere. It always attracts attention as well. So far I have bought two for me - one for home and one in my handbag - as well as several for friends and family. As someone who does not like drinking from the top of cans, this removes the unhygienic top completely without leaving any sharp edges (although it isn’t infallible, so check before using in case there is a sharp edge that was there before the lid was fitted).

5 stars
This thing works perfect. If you’re looking for one of these tools to take the top off your cold beverage this summer, this is the one you need to buy. I previously bought a cheap one that I tried once and wasted a cold can of beer because it left it full of aluminium shavings. Immediately returned it, got this one in the mail today and couldn’t be happier. No aluminum shavings no sharp edges, do yourself a favour and spend the extra money on this premium product and don’t waste your time with the others. Cheers

Doesn't open all cans
I bought this to open some limited edition cans. I was very disappointed that I couldn't open any of them. This tool doesn't open 6cm diameter cans. Useless!
