Bought this for my little outdoor garden. Came with everything to get it setup. Solar panel keeps the unit charged. Have it watering 15 outdoor plants. No issues with leaking or damage to the unit from rain. So it is indeed waterproof. Have it set to water for 10 seconds at a time every 4 hours during the day. Works great and the timer is accurate.

We live in Florida and plants do not live more than a day if they don't get water daily. I try to water the plants but for those weekends that we are not home, this has been a great help. I actually planned to use it for weekends when we are away, but now I am finding myself using it daily, just have to have a container with water and it will water the plants itself. Since it is for 15 plants, I am using in my raised bed for my herbs. I plan to buy a 2nd one for other plants since I wanna give it a try first. At first it seemd a little difficult but the instructions were pretty easy. Best part is that is solar.

So the order went in...Today it arrived and I'm honestly gob smacked at how good it is -- in function, completeness, documentation, value, you-name-it. I'm particularly fond of the "humidity" sensor (it's a moisture sensor actually). With a single button push you can elect to have the unit monitor the soil wetness and only irrigate if it's dry.
