it is beautiful i bought it for a friend who loves nativity scenes

I got this in memory of my mom. She used to have this beautiful frosted glass nativity set that had like ten different pieces, but in her later years something had happened to them and we could not find them. I am sure they are in a box hidden deep in the attic, but I always wanted to get a new nativity set. This one came up on my Vine suggestions and I had to get it. I love that it comes with it's own lights (no more positioning a string of lights behind them). I can't wait to put it front and center or our Christmas village display. It's a bit bigger than the rest of our village buildings, but I think it'll be just fine.I am not a fan of it being battery powered, because I'd rather have it plug in and not worry about preserving the batteries for Christmas day. I am also not a huge fan of plastic/acrylic things as they usually feel like they will break easily or the coloration is cloudy. I am still not sure how it will stand up against three tween boys with ADHD and who love pushing buttons and looking at lights, but time will tell.The great part about this is that I won't have to worry about losing pieces, the unit is crystal clear, and the lights are beautiful and bright. I do wish the lights would have been placed throughout the whole unit including the people and especially the star, but they are just in the bottom.
